There was him sitting on the chair here, then the sequence in Code: Veronica after he blur-ran into Chris and knocked him across the room and straightened his shades, then smiled. Number 3, 4, and 5 were in RE 5. Chronologically speaking, 3 was when Chris and Jill burst into Spencer study and found Wesker inside, and he turned to smile (briefly). 4 was when he pulled the hood off of Jill in Ch 5-3. And 6-3 had half of one when Chris tried to tackle Wesker.

But full number 5 was here: Wesker: "Do you actually think you can defeat me?" Chris: "Either way, I'm not going to stop until I'm dead!" Wesker: -smile and laugh- "Well, then. I'll just have to kill you quickly."

@fmcc0904 also when Excella mentioned Chris coming to pay him a visit in the Uroboros facility and he looked away slightly with a smirk, which I guess was either nervousness or humor taken from the situation. I relle cant tell. and u also 4got about during his confrontation with Sergei and Ivan in the MTF when Birkin's self-destruct activation distracted the two: the upper building started to crumble and Wesker slyly smiled softly. this was seen in almost a split second before he disappeared.

@SadisticTerror Well, thanks for adding in, but I hadn't forgotten anything. I just didn't want to clog up the page more than I already had. lol Trust me. No one knows his character or his actions better than I do. I was just trying to point out that he smiles more often than just once or twice in the entire series. Hell, there was even another one in CVX, when he smiled and laughed at Claire after finding her in front of the Ashford mansion. And there are others, too.

@fmcc0904 What makes the last smile in this game particularly memorable is the fact that Wesker seems to have finally taken apart the very thing that had been pulling the strings: the Umbrella Corporation.

It's that known sense of comfort and satisfaction lingering in his mind that makes the particular moment really awesome.

@DemetedP Agreed. But he also believed that he would finish Spencer and enact his own plans. Sadly, he ended up simply recycling Spencer's grand scheme and trying to fulfill the old coot's dream anyway...Very rushed and gutless.

The impression had always been that he would succeed in the long run. What do you expect when they change Directors mid-stride, especially for someone who wants to hurry and end the current story so that he can "reboot" the series? Damn shame.

9:00 The scene after the credits is just awesome and it picks up a year later when Wesker learns about the Plagas sample. He finds out that the sample is at a small village in Europe where he sends Ada to retrieve the sample in Resident Evil 4.
