  • The Roadhouse Doors

  • I'll see you guys in NYC on 12-9-11!!!

  • Joe Bilotti is my very close family friend and he's the guitarist my mom and him have know each other since they were children

  • wish they where in the uk id go see em if they play the black train song

  • you are very good ... I found a cover band in Italy ... amazing as you listen to it ...the indian sunset the doors tribute

  • Proof positive that there is morte than one way to skin a cat. Please run an ice pick through both of my ears. Can't this guy even hear how bad he sounds?

  • @sirloin1953 Can't you see how bad you write?

  • does he not hear the beat?

  • Saw them at The Chance in Poughkeepsie. Anyone there that night will remember it, and remember me if you saw me.

  • Okay. V301H's comment about Joe Russo having plastic sugery on his nose to make it look like Morrison's, is a complete and total lie, false rumor, or what we like to call down south, "horseshit". It is laughable. I know him personally, and I have seen photos of him as a child and teenager. SAME NOSE. He just happened to be born looking alot like Jim and everyone who have ever said otherwise have had an agenda or have been simply jealous. If Joe knew about this rumor, he'd laugh. Hard.

  • Wow! That is really all I can say about this!

Wish these fuckers would come to Georgia!

  • Russo is not at all like Morrison. Jim was mentally, physically, emotionally & spiritually in tune with his audience and band. Joe hides on a dimly-lit stage ~ barely moving around. would sound a lot more like Jim if he was more in tune. gotta give it to his band though ~ they have The Doors' music "right on". and they're more approachable. Joe is like Jim in one respect... he works several audience ladies while his girlfriend is in the same room... clueless!

  • @TheConnoiseur I completely agree!!!

  • @TheConnoiseur Yeah, I agree with this. I saw them in PA a few years ago and they were all hitting on every girl in the club. My friend ended up going to Vic the drummer's hotel room and of course she never heard from him again-Typical arrogance. Great band, though.

  • @thethrillride83 I can understand why a woman would be a groupie for a rock star. But a tribute band? That sounds weak. Soft Parade singer Joe Russo lives near me in North Jersey. I have bumped into him many times. Every time I saw him he was in character. Like Jim he doesn't say much. I wonder if he likes anal sex as much as Jim. Pitching, not catching. Notthattheresanythingwrongwiththat.

  • i respect the hell out of these guys BUT mike needs to lose some weight..lol cmon man its JIM FUCKEN MORRISON!!!! jump in the crowd! dance on stage! shout!!

  • Damn this is so fucking good!!!

  • this is the next best thing for someone who was borin after jim died....right on

  • i can do it better...how can i apply?

  • V301h Where the hell did you hear that he had surgery. I know for a fact thats not true.

  • @rob666bass

Sorry if I spoiled the fantasy for you. Many entertainers in the celebrity impersonation industry have had even more extensive cosmetic surgery. It's more common than you might think. In this case I didn't think it was any secret as I've heard it more than a few times over the years. Anyway, surgery or no surgery these guys are by far the best at what they do.

  • These guys really go to great lengths to get the look right. The singer even had surgery on his nose so it would look like Jim's. Incredible tribute.

  • Absolutely amazing. Sounds just like The Doors, and you guys all dress up like them, which is a big part of the act!

  • sorry everyone i revoke my last comment, i was only 1/2 way through the vid when i posted it, after listening to the full performance, they are incredible

  • this isnt the best or the worst but the singer sounds almost exactly like jim morrison, those are big shoes to fill..

  • I think this is greaet! lets see one of you losers making a complaint do it.. The people complaining have no real stage experience obviously. This is more then singing, this is The Doors and he is doing Jim's drunken singing with this performance!

  • this sucks he is so off on alot of o this songs and the drummer sucked at the begneing......

  • absolute crap, just god awful, really horrible

  • i saw them a few weeks ago outside philly. amazing show! i kind of blacked out near the end of the 2nd set though i was pissed.

  • ehh

  • they really kick ass, he can scream like Jim.......eerily similar scream

  • i hope they play in the midwest someday

  • AH! i was there!!! great performance! it was just like the doors, i was in the front like touching the stage lol. i met the keyboardist, drummer, and guitarist before the show too. it was very awesome!!!

  • I love these guys. They do Jim justice IMO.

  • thats cool man, i will deffinatley keep an eye out, cause i got no prob goin to dc philly or baltimore for a good show. i mean i live like 30 minutes north of baltimore/DC and like 30 minutes south of philly. so im right in the middle of all the action!! lol

  • i like wild child better. but they aint bad and the fact they apparently played in baltimore *where i live* last year, makes me think they will be back in the area, so i hope to see them!

  • great you are my god

  • que increible, canta igualito a jim morrison!! si bajara unos kilos estaria impecable

  • I saw them for my first time about 2 weeks ago. It is the best tribute band I ever seen!!!!

  • I love THE SOFT PARADE. I have seen them many times. It is a real magical, intimate, 60s, moment - you'll love it. I've been requesting that they come up to the capital district, NY...perhaps they will some day!!

  • @RoseLily69 JOE RUSO IS THE SINGER? HE IS THE MOST NEAR PERSON TO JIM MORRISON. WHY HE DONT SING WITH RAIDERS ON THE STORM? HE SING LIKE JIM. WHY I CANT SEE MORE VIDEOS OF THE SOFT PARADE BAND IN HERE ???

  • wonderful performance! they seems the old real Doors! very good! Joe Russo a great frontman! :)

  • Lo último!

De seguro debe haber estado muy cansado el vocalista, porque ayer cuando tocaron esta canción... le salió muy mal cantando (los músicos son muy buenos).

Sobre todo en Get togheter one more time..

  • podi creer q faltan solo 7 horas?

  • I saw this band a few years ago.. and I am still shocked about how amazing Joe Russo looks like,

    Jim Morrison! Fantastic cover band!

  • pitty

  • ire a comprobar si son algo similares a los the doors ya que estaran en chile en diciembre

  • Dude, this nigga sounds just like JIm, it's fuckin eerie.

  • wow, I am 21.

  • Joe Russo of The Soft Parade is an amazing man! His devotion towards his career in music is incredible. He puts his heart, mind, and soul in what he does. Highly recommend The Soft Parade for any Doors fan out there.

  • i've seen them a few times. they really are excellent -- ultimate doors fans.

  • I usually hate people who try to copy The Doors but this is the first band that did it right.

  • holy shit this band is coming to my aunts theater, adn im lucky enough to go and see them!!

    cant fucking wait

  • The kid who grew up and became Jim Morrison. Either a blessing or a curse, Joe Russo was born with Jim's face. And Russo's voice is way better than Ian Astbury's version of the Doors. And for that, the Soft Parade are the best of the Doors tribute bands. Even Manzarek called them his favorite tribute band.

Also check out the French Doors tribute band Celebration of the Lizard.

  • not bad! lol i like the singer hes got a nice honey covered voice like morrison did and val villmer in the movie, and the band seems dead on note for note

now you need a room full of drunkin and stones people =P aha

  • Pretty Cool band. Where do I get more info- not quite sure of the name and stuff? Wish it was a little lighter but still got the message across- thanks.
