This album is more about Manson himself and the issues he had to battle trough, it's more personal, seems like everything that is the least bit melancholical is branded "emo" nowadys, you can't enjoy a moody song anymore, lest you want to be labeled with some stupid term
Let's face it. Manson is getting older. AntiChrist Superstar is almost 20 years old. Manson's view of the world is going to change, and its going to be reflected in his music. That's not a bad thing. If he kept remaking the same album until he died THEN he would be a sellout. But songs like this show that he expresses his feelings regardless of how they will be received. This is the work of a true artist.
WHAT THE HELL!??!?!?! I never heard this album after I firsted listened to Eat Me, Drink Me album, and now he's coming out with a new one, I'VE NEVER HEARD OF THIS ONE UNTIL NOW!?!?!?!!?! OMGGGGGGGGGGG
@MentalMalpractice Just like in life, people just become too accustomed to the everyday and are not willing to accept changes on what they have become used to. I for one love the "new" Marilyn Manson. His songs are deeper lyric-wise which proves how talented of a artist he really for those that think of Marilyn Manson only as being a attention whore being all that make-up, dark image and controversy.
1) he made it with no dedication or mention of his friend and brother Gidget Gein the man who was one who was one of the very people who was (along with Daisy) soley responsible for bringing him to the fame he desired , and he had died during making of this one.
2) it deviates from what Marilyn Manson really is, which is not emo crap
i feel though this song is somewhat about him(gidget) which is somewhat cool
@MentalMalpractice Well my issue as an old school fan is it lacks meaning like portrait, and acss and MA did.
my other issue was that this album was made right when his best friend, collaborator and one whose ideas he used to shape everything died (gidget gein) and he made NO song remembering him or even mentioning him in the liner notes

Very good song I can say, but the title seems very cliche and a bit... cheesy.

I always knew MM was a genius so this song doesn't surprise me. Yet I'm still amazed.

I can feel this song physically.
I feel this... anti-explainable feeling of Beyond passionate, superhuman love.
"Sometimes hate is not enough to turn this all to ashes"
This song, It's way way more than a song. It's this impulse of pure agony and affection...MM for life!!

I absolutely love this entire album. I don't understand alot of peoples issues with it. In my opinion, it is one of his best.

@MentalMalpractice because the fact of the following:
