Fighting our way up, ousting the favorites for the cup, this was a historic year for the Oilers, maybe not a Cup year, but I'm damn proud regardless. I will look back on it with fondness and optimism, there's always next year.

"What does this mean to you?"
This is the only sports season that can make me emotional. So many things about it defined the Oilers as a group and made them stand out. We deserved the cup that year, battling through injuries, (not to restate a point, but) losing Roloson in game 1 of the finals and having that game thrown by a single stupid move by Conklin.
