Yes, there was a special and unique kindred spiritual relationship between St. James MBC and Chicago. The cross fellowship and mentorship fostored a unique sound for Detroit that each of us who were members treasure to this day. Even now, 22 years later when I am in Chicago, the relationship is still alive and well. Praise be to God.
