It had many photographs as the Nazi's did much filming in the ghetto for research. I'll be interested to see how much of this movie is based on fact, and how much is not.

@DANNY77SS You make a good point. But the division in the Warsaw Ghetto was the 36th SS Division. It was made up of former concentration camp INMATES. Murderers, Rapists, poachers, Gypses, and homo-sexuals were the primary source for this unit. While most SS Divisions were known for their ferocity in battle, the 36th never had an outstanding battle record and I think it might have been disbanded before the war ended.

They were easy targets, entered the ghetto to believe that there would be resisted and the trust was his enemy, on the other hand the Germans were no longer tagets as any other group that participated in that war, there must have been easy and difficult as everywhere, the Germans were not anything special, just simple occupants wanted to go off duty at the weekend

@DANNY77SS You make a good point. But the division in the Warsaw Ghetto was the 36th SS Division. It was made up of former concentration camp INMATES. Murderers, Rapists, poachers, Gypses, and homo-sexuals were the primary source for this unit. While most SS Divisions were known for their ferocity in battle, the 36th never had an outstanding battle record and I think it might have been disbanded before the war ended.

@DANNY77SS i agree, in the warsaw uprising only 17 nazi's were killed (bearing in mind that these are nazi statistics) and over 13,000 jewish or polish fighters were killed or sent to death camps. not to mention the 52+ thousand that were only civilians and were sent to aushwitz or another camp

@1987jkilla I think Guantanamo Bay should be closed. The residents are non-uniformed combatants, so they are not afforded the rights of POWs. They should be shot. Remember, surrendering Iraqi soldiers were treated very fairly by the coalition as they should have been.

The Germans lost some 10,000 dead in the Warsaw Uprising in 1944. As for Polish help what did you expect them to do in 1943 with the nearest Allied front some 500 miles away? Commit suicide? Where do you think the Jews got most of their weapons from? The Polish AK (Home Army), who also sent in a unit to rescue the survivors.
