It's sad and shameful to know that in the 3 years that this government has been in power. No official arrests or prosecutions have been made in regards to high profile corruption cases, despite the numerous commissions of inquiries and investigations. My suggestion is that the entire KACC which seems to be sleeping on its ears and not making any progress be dissolved. The buck stops at Kibaki for allowing such impunity in his government.
Karega Mutahi in Tunisia? Now President Kibaki, this is stretching it too far. Why did you allow Karega Mutahi to fly to Tunisia? Did you give him permission knowing very well he is under investigation? Is he going to be treated by the Tunisians with the respect a high Kenyan government official deserves? Karega Mutahis inability, corruption and impunity are now in the public domain. Honourable Kibaki: Again how can you allow Karega Mutahi to fly to Tunisia on behalf of the Kenyan Government?
Why is resignation in itself seen as the most punitive thing? "calls for resignition" bla bla bla. Of cause if i'm going to steal millions, I would at some point know that should I get caught out, resignition is the only thing that can forced. I'd therefore steal as much as I can, or be plainly incompetent so I can be asked to resign since stepping down would be a brighter red flag! Resignation is no longer a deterrent; these people should all be improsoned at the point of suspicion.
why is Kibaki saying that he will demand for resignations of top officials for corruption??? Mzee you are the country's CEO so you should be firing them with a stroke of a pen.
NTV keep up the pressure untill heads roll, Ongeri and the tourist who is in Tunisia must go.
Tunisia doing what? wasting donor funds trotting the globe while the house burns! Parents should lead children into the streets and demand for heads to roll!
@Siasabora, they steal so that they can take their children to private school. To make matters worse, some of these Kenyan fatcats are more interested in what goes on in the education system in SA, England etc because that is where their kids and grand-kids go to school.

First it was the YOUTH FUND scandal which seems to have been swept under the rug, now the FREE EDUCATION funds gone awry
My request to the media is to keep on reporting on these events unceasingly until the responsible parties are brought to light.

Oh, that doesn't matter to him - because he (Kibaki) is also involved in corruption. So sending Amos Wako to Tunisia or wherever does not faze him.
