The closest in terms of that mulatto type look is probably Southern Sudan or Somalia. Though I would not call the Ancient Egyptians strictly black or white or even what we commonly refer to as mulatto. They were unique unto themselves.

If you take a look at India - especially in the southern parts - there are people who are dark skinned. in fact there are very dark skinned people in India. Does that mean they are African by race??
Look -the concept of race is very complex and quite frankly means very little (except to people who are insecure with themselves).

The UK preserved greek treasures because greece couldnt preserve them. They would have been destroyed in the constant wars in the area because greece has basically been contolled by loads of countries, the last time the UK was invaded was nearly 1000 years ago in 1066. They are a lot safer in London where people can see them for free.

You sound ridiculous. First, All of Africa's antiquity and children are of Ethiopia. Second, Mali was the wealthiest nation in the world in antiquity. Timbuktu had the FIRST university in Sankore where Islam, Theology, Advanced Mathematics, and numerous secular courses and young men from North Africa, Middle East and Southern Europe came to study.
Also, West Africa's military strength ruled the world. Mansa Musa was the most powerful king in lower antiguity.

The artefacts in the Egyptian collection were not stolen in any way, the fact that they are no longer situated in the place where they were created is not really relevant to their legal status. The British museum is a place where people can go to from all over the world to see the treasures of every nation if the collection was to be split up just because of petty mindedness and mock political correctness then the world would be a much poorer place without it.

I disagree. The ruling arab/muslim population would eventually destroy these artifacts as they did the library of alexandria in the 7th century. It is not by accident that the british and germans both managed to sneak these human historical items out for safe keeping.
Perhaps, one day when Egypt is more secular and truly appreciate the heritage of the land that they now inhabit - they can be given back.
If the Ottomans still ruled Egypt, this would be a moot debate.

Dude, there are several museums spread all over Egypt with ancient artefacts. They haven´t been destroyed by anybody. Why would the "stolen" ones be destroyed if they were returned? Moreover, even if they would destroyed it, it would just not be our business. These things are from Egypt and that's where they belong to.

I agree with you. The library of Alexandrea was not destroyed by Muslims it was the Christians who burnt it down. I have also been to the Lebanon and visitied the sites there including the temple of Bachuss and Jupiter which are in the Bekaa valley and are well preserved and are listed as world heritage sites

Here is what probably happend in very ancient egypt, a bunch of semitic people like the arabs or Canan people for example and the black africans like Ethiopeans or Sudanesse people for example found egypt at very close time, they most likely fought at first but I guess they finally started making love and boom you got ancient Egypt, but definitely no europeans invovled here, Cleopatra an ethnic Greek took ancient egyptians green Card and became a citizen and as served Queen, so to speak.

Ancient Egypt has been my biggest interest since I was 6 years old and I think it was great to see this, but it actually made me very dizzy because the camera is moving round and round pretty quickly...
To those who comments on the skin colour - 1. Does it really matter? We are all homo sapiens sapiens! 2. They aren't black. The Egyptians skin colour looks more like the colour you get when you add some milk into coffee...
