  • Thank you. These are some of my favorite remarks from leaders of the LDS church. I hope that someday church members will have more open arms toward our gay and lesbian brothers and sisters. There is so much warmth in the church, I wish that this warmth could reach more of God's sons and daughters.

    Nuff said.

  • Thank-you for the great video.....I wish all people could see there is not hate amongst us.

  • What a beautiful video! Thanks so much!

  • Now this needs to be put on tv so people can see the real truth about us. awesome

  • And just look at what is happening now that the voice of the people didn't vote against proposition 8, now they are having a panel of seven justices, six of whom already voted to review the challenges.

If this is not a wake up call then nothing is, what is next? Anything the voice of the people votes for will only become law if certain groups "approve" of their votes?

This is an issue of serious concern for all Americans if we want to preserve all of our freedoms, period.

  • Thank you for putting it all in to perspective.

  • This is a very informative video. I don't see hate and prejudice, but love, acceptance and outreach to all. This is quite different that what is portrayed on the news reports.

  • I love being Mormon. I have so much respect toward our leaders.

  • Thanks for uploading this video. It will hopefully combat the recent disturbing hatred directed at our Church.

  • I think respect is important. Shrieking names and using degrading language seems to go counter to that!

  • The concern is also about the fact that what has happened here is that a church and it's members have expressed their freedom of speech which is a Civil Right. The 1st Amendment to be specific. No Californian was forced to vote either way.

The church simply taught that we should support what Jesus Christ taught which was traditional marriage. We have, do and always will love all people regardless of their personal choices, we may hate the sin but always love the sinner.

  • "No Californian was forced to vote either way."

and one side is trying to punish the other side for voting. Something that seems counter democracy!

  • Dido

  • You can not expect a church to change it's beliefs in traditional marriage if it is to remain true to it's beliefs and doctrines taught by Jesus Christ himself and his apostles. If this were allowed to change then God would cease to be God.

The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints has always taught love of all men and women regardless of faith or lack thereof.
