@360ninjascope i dont quite understand what your asking? if you get level 3 on silverback you get rockets. if you get level 4 silverback you get a price reduction on repairs and if you get level 5 silverback you get even more reduction on repairs. The max level for silverback is 5. I wasnt sure of your question but i hope this information answers what you want to know :)

@MultiShark33 buy silverback for 12,500. upgrade to rockets (if u are lvl 3) 10,000, then press A to plant ur feet into the ground and u cannot move and just shoot :) if u can move and shoot thats u using the machine gun

@chisfife Just experience. You actually make more money on casual per kill I believe.  It's their way of coupling easier enemies with more money to build so casual is, well, casual.

Hey guys for a heads up, if you didnt know already the difficulty and mutators also effect your progression towards the next level of a fortifications. So its better to play on insane.

@SparseFreeman98 its just putting in the time i'm afraid. They are best done is private matches since its easer to meet the requirements against bots. I do mine with a split screen controller too but friends are even more useful. The gametypes for example can be idle boosted when you sleep or at work. Be patient, a little bit of progress each day is better than none at all. Break it down for yourself and dont think of the whole picture.. it will only discourage you. Good luck :)

LOL!!! you guys think that the rockets are the end all of the silverback upgrades? when you get the rockets the REPAIR costs are increased dramatically. if you don't know what you're doing in the silverback you will easily turn it into a money pit. the rockets are a tradeoff to using cover. yes it gives you devastating firepower but being stationary and long reloads make you more exposed.

@Sora731 retro beats lancer close range and the chainsaw beats the bayonet charge. Retro can melee. It's all preference.

@Sora731 they design the guns to be EQUAL. if there was a BEST only it will be used. I know u dont when to hear this but they all have a job: Lancer is good at people at medium-long range, has the most ammo and is good when u get into a wack fight. Retro lancer is good at people fast at close-medium range, getting someone while charging, slowing shotgun guys and blind fire. Hammerburst has the least ammo, no bayonet but is the strongest and can fire as fast as u can tap the trigger (My Favorite)

@zodiaccurse12 i have 29 onyx medals as nowr. In a few hours i will have 31 (mvp's and buttoned up so close). To be honest i've been at this number for nearly two weeks now. I have got the 'easy' onyx's done and i am doing the more time consuming ones atm. I have fixed my mic problems and hope to have a video for every single onyx medal. wow that thing is unstoppable as long as u keep it somewhere safe. I focused on unlocking the onyx guards (you can have FIVE of those guys running around on some maps). But now that I've seen this, its time to upgrade my silverback. =]

@410MaXiMuS onyx guards are shit right now unless they fix them. They die on casual way too fast and can't swap weapons can't man turrents, etc

but too agressive to just rush tickers and enemy alone. Nice if/when they fix them to be more restrained on the rushing alone

but they are a piss of 10 grand so be warned. We play hardcore or insane and they won't make it on any wave after 5 for long ;/

@TheUserWTF The new DLC called 'Horde Commando' added new levels to the silverback among other things. If you cannot upgrade past level 2 that suggests to me you do not have this dlc. When you do have the dlc you have to upgrade your silverback to level 3. When you do so buy the silverback for $12,500 and then upgrade it for $10,000. When you plant your feet into the ground you shoot rockets or u can shoot and walk around normally using the machine gun

@lionistclyde my other video which is a dlc achievement guide includes how to boost the horde fortifications. That includes the best method to upgrade your siverback. its basically doing wave 9 over and over again by deliberately dying with a few enemies left. the video explans it well. the mic quaity is poor so there is a written guide in the description. as for time wise, it took me 2 hours to upgrade my silverback from lvl 2 to lvl 3 so i reckon another 5 hours maybe more to be max lvl :/
