@sweetlilcaro - how can you choose anything for God unless God put that in you first? There's a lot of people who talk about free will, but do we really have a free will? Consider the Pharoh at the time of the Exodus - weren't all his decisions his own? Didn't he have free will to make his own decisions? Yes and no - yes he made his own decisions, but God hardened his heart. It says that many times in the Scripture.

why not just let people with Faith believe in what they want.

I'm not taking sides but I agree with the reason why scientist get annoyed,

the question points more towards, what have the religious people got that they can bring to the table.

Look at it like this. The order of creation IN THE BIBLE is the exact order that is supported by fossil evidence. How could people more than 6,000 years ago have known that? They didn't have drilling tools, and no thoughts of evolution, yet they were spot-on with the order. So the bible being inspired by an all-knowing, creator-God is an inevitable conclusion if you think about it.

@tratten182 I, myself, am quite a man of science and logic and I would say that I pride myself on my ability to reason and think. I'm not proud, it's just what God gave me. I am not alone in intellectual groups in saying that it only makes sense that there is a God. There are many scientists out there that are Christian, though many are deceived by the idea that they contradict. The only places where science proves that there is no God is where they start with the assumption that He isn't real.
