Mine is doing the same thing. I just bought him about a month ago with a bare butt that I didn't notice until after purchasing him. The shop owner said he was two and from one owner. He ran around the small cage constantly feeling and looking to get into something but wouldn't go into the little enclosure I had for him. Now he is balled up and barely moving. I have two other Chilean Rose that never acted like this. One has molted twice the other not at all.
my tarantula beast, is a mexican golden red rump, she has been acting like the spider above but faster, looks like shes dancing, i know somethings wrong. so what is the spider doing, is she sick?
@marianjane0219 I can't speak for your tarantula, but in this case he was just stressed. I'm happy to report that he has made a full recovery and is doing very well.
Do you have a water dish (if you dont--add one--a water bottle cap works great)? What about a hide? It does seem to be moving funny. I had 2 Ts with DKS and it looked more like a T seizure than what yours is doing... I am still pretty new to Ts tho.
You know....I'll see if I can show this to my cousin. He has all kinds of spiders as pets in his house (my nightmare house) he might know what's wrong with it.

This looks more like dehydration, when they molt they lose a lot of water. Always make shure they drink after molting. Good to hear she's fine. ;)

I appreciate that, I've posted a link of it to several forums as well, and I hope someone can tell me if I'm just being paranoid or not.
