@rocketman544 I first heard it in 1958 when I was a boy and it was the introductory music to a TV production of David Copperfield and I spent years wondering what it was. It took me forty years but it was worth the wait. Wonderful music.

My favorite part of this movement is 3:06 when the brass instrument or whatever it was does that upward slur!

Aber der Holzbläsersatz ist absolut daneben.

Außerdem ist das alles ein bisschen zu wenig fliigran. Ich empfehle die Aufnahme mit dem LSO unter Claudio Abbado!

We are playing this entire symphony at my university right now. It's such an amazing masterpiece, but playing it is quite challenging!! I'd have to say this is the most difficult. I really love it, though--it reminds me of an enchanted forest for some reason. :p
