it's a very interesting idea for a movie with more than a hint of Sergio Leone, maybe it could have been called "a fistful of trumpets"? Lots of divided opinion I see in the comments... Not a pure brass quintet with out my french horn. The intro was wayyyyyyy too long but the playing was that of a high school ensemble.

Why all the theatrics? If you'd focus more on the music, you wouldn't have to bother with the "plot" and other sorts of shenanigans, and the overall outcome would be much more pleasing for audiences.

you're an idiot. just because they're not a rock band doesn't mean you should stereotype them as a bunch of mediocre-ly famous losers who just play music. Rock bands do stuff like that all the time. just because brass quintets, which any brass quintet has at least 3 times the musicality of a rock band, don't get publicity nor acknowledgement in the teenage-driven U.S.A, doesn't mean they don't get it everywhere.
