I agree with the slowness thing on Linux. Ubuntu Heron ships with FF3b5, and it takes a bit longer with me compared to FF2. Which makes no sense at all.
Oh, and pardon my bitching about Ubuntu via messaging. Got it on my EeePC, works fine, now moving toward a dualboot of XP and Ubuntu. Must be my hardware being incompatible (atm)
Is it true that FireFox 3 going to have different option for each OS? (example: Windows got its own option base on Windows. Mac got its own option for Mac. Linux going to have its own option etc.) Does it have better plugs? All I know is that firefox lets you customize your browser. If I want the Explorer to run like a Mac I can with add on plugs.
What about quicktime?After all it comes on an Imac anyways.

the beta5 is painfully slow on linux and it crashes on me but only on you tube so i use firefox2 until the final release of 3 just for stability.

i think so but i heard linuxes are the same as windows. and no it has the same plugs and IE on the mac is IE5
