Lol, I live in Maryland (DC area) and that's definitely an exaggerated Baltimore/Towny accent. Listen to Marty Bass..not only is he the worst weatherman ever, but he has the best Baltimore accent on TV.

If you live in Maryland and have "never heard it" you're either from the DC area and never ventured north into the Baltimore area...or you're from Dundalk/Essex/Pasadena/East Baltimore and that's what you're used to and "deont kneow waht ervreybuddy's tahlkin abeout."

I'm from Maryland and although she is exaggerating the "oh's" extremely, that basically is how people born and raised in MD talk. Although there are basically 3 different Maryland accents - Baltimore, Northern/Eastern MD, and the DC suburbs.

Okay only northern Baltimore County and the some of the more rural counties have this. They also pronounce Wash as warsh. More urbanized areas like Montgomery and PG don't have this.
