how long do they sleep for?

At nap time they sleep for one to two hours at a time, in the morning, afternoon and evening. They sleep through the night for 8 to 10 hours.

how many weeks until they can walk and eat by themselves

the pups drink milk from their mothers until they are about 7 to 8 weeks old and they start eating puppy mush at 6 weeks old and are totaly eating hard dog food at 9 weeks old and after they are 9 weeks old or over 1 1/2 lbs, then I can have them leave to go to their new home. They are not fully weaned until they are 9 weeks old and I would never have a pup leave our home until then. Most go to their new homes between 9 weeks to 4 months depending on size.
