SimplyKellz I just got mine Wed and did my friends nails. The first 20 times I did it was awful but don't give up the more you practice the better it will work. You do have to have patience with it for sure. Once you get it it's so awesome.

i have the konad nail kit thingy and i've experimented with other generic nail polish and it works just as good as the "special" you just have to work faster because it dries out. you may have too clean it once or twice also.
