  • Hahahha AWSOME vid guys. Nice catch!

  • they just let it bleed in the water so that it won't get so bloody messy on the boat.

  • im not a fishing expert but when did people start beating fish that they r gonna throw back anyway

  • Hey buddy! Read the previous posts and if you watch the video you will see that we put a rope though the fish's mouth... it's called a stringer! It keeps him on a line that you can throw out into the water to keep the fish fresh!

  • What prevents sharks, etc. from preying on the fish? With all that blood trailing off, you would think that thing would dissappear in minutes..?

  • I dunno about Alaska, but here in socal, the seals will try and steal your catch. Never heard of sharks tearing apart a catch though..

  • nice lol, i dont give a fuck what you do to it after youve caught it, lol its a fish...

  • I am not disputing the fact that guns can or should be used. I just want to caution everyone with regards to firing into water. Something that was pounded into my head during basic training. You really can't tell where the dang bullet will travel. NICE CATCH THOUGH!

  • nice fish any way mate.

  • Thank you!

  • why didnt you have a gun?would have been more humane.

  • It was discussed after the fact because he said he normally carries a gun on him but it was forgotten that morning. It wasn't like we were torturing it, we wanted to knock it out so it would bleed out without a fight.

  • that was dumb u pretty much killed it and then u chucked it back....moron ;[

  • chucked it back on a stringer....moron! Read the fillets comment, that means we ate it!

  • No Way that fish is over 100lbs, probably around the 70lbs mark...

    Patrick, Fintona, Ireland :)

  • It was 84 #'s in just fillets.
