  • Master Chia has helped me a lot. I don't practice chi gong anymore but am getting older and am reintroducing myself. Thanks for sharing! I love the system he presents.

  • Anyone ever seen this dude do Iron Shirt stuff? Only ever seen him talk about it.

  • Thank you for this information. I have the book and I hope to read it and maybe begin to practice it. It's very interesting.

  • @BluePittbull666 calling someone a fool turns you into one, because you are judging things before even trying or learning from it...and by the way ppl in modern medicine still get sick,so its not like you can be proud of a method of medicine that gets you unhealthy.

  • @BluePittbull666 Actually Dr. Mantak Chia has a western education in anatomy and physiology as well.

  • in spanish please

  • this video is wonderful. Were does he teach? perhaps in Scotland, Uk ??

    Hope so.

  • Got the book #1 at a thrift store a couple years ago and it's awesome. 2011 I will dig into it...

  • Mantak Chis is the real deal...I trained under him in 1992. Looks fragile maybe, but internally he is strong, and look at his complexion...very bright and healthy.

some people don't know shit from shinola even when its right in their face.

  • Mantak looks cool, I would like to meet him.

  • LoL...

look at that fragile body....yeah he knows Iron Shirt.

Anyone that claim they know Iron Shirt is full of it.

Real masters that know Iron Shirt don't share these knowledge because they do not want the knowledge to fall into the wrong hands.

  • @munchichi8 which hands are the wrong hands?

  • @munchichi8 You are right¡¡¡ yet these guy guides in a basic level to lern from tao, the energy of all.

I think its ok to let people know about it... iron shirt is not necesary, yet the awerness of chi and the dang thieng, and all that it means, is necessary for these world, specialy in these time.

Hope my english its understandable, :)

  • @munchichi8 you are a fuckin moron. If real masters dont share these skills they wont continue to exist! Let me guess ur american?

  • @Joelw2230

I will save you the embarrassment now before you make yourself more of a fool.

I am a full blooded Chinese. I speak 3 dialects of Chinese and I often travel back to China to train and compete in kung fu. I have been training for 30+ years. I have been in more street fights then you can count up to.

I am also a NCCAOM certified acupuncturist/ physician in Traditional Chinese Medicine. I am well aware of how qi flows in the body. I also practice qi gong almost every day.

  • @munchichi8 my kung fu is better then yours!

  • Mantak Chia is explaining the basic principle of Qi Gong, which I am well aware of.

Fact 1: To train in Iron Shirt or Golden Bell kung fu a student must be selected as a disciple and not just a student.

Fact 2: Not everyone can train in ISK or GBK because 99% of the people lack the discipline because complete abstinence from sex is required.

  • @munchichi8 same guy has sex chi gong so whats up with that

  • @munchichi8 He is not fragile at all, his chi and how he is uses it is so strong that he can break your bones.

I am glad he is teaching this things.

  • @estategioiosa

    LoL, breaking my bones, right.....

I am not going to get into an argument with you foolish, gullible people. Believe and follow who you want.

  • Very good.

  • I have never found a qigong exercise which protects your face and your head!

    Does anybody know one?

  • @kosombi Ther is Iron head but is very advanced. You must develop you chi for years before attempting advanced techniques or you can cause self injury.

  • thanks for sharing....I like it...useful information for healing...

  • i love the iron shirt very powerful but i dredd im taking in too much chi what should i do my last teacher told me not to go pass the nipples or i might take in too much anyone got any tips?

  • @TheShaolinScholar yeah. Don´t ask in youtube, where everyone claims to be an expert

  • @TheShaolinScholar the problem isnt taking in too much, the problem is taking in more then you know what to do with because the high amounts of energy then becomes stored in your body and starts to damage it(thats what i read in one of Mataks books anyway). So you wil need to learn how to use the energy and or expell it.

  • @Maniac50AE wow that good did his books say how to do that?

  • @TheShaolinScholar havnt finished, i jump around from one type of information to another, right now im looking at a video about archetypes and yesterday i was studying Uniform Commercial Code but, besides that i cant be sure if i read it in his book because i was reading Multi Orgasmic Man by him so it was probaly Master Lu's Lift Up series that i heard that or Chi Power Plus that said this, like a scientist, the only thing that matters to me is if it works, i DL all this stuff using torrents.

  • @TheShaolinScholar feel free to share any information with me, in true hacker form i believe that all information should be free.

  • I can only hold the Zhan Zhuang posture for 500 breaths (roughly 40 minutes).

I really suck; you're supposed to be able to do it, literally, all day, 12 hours straight. Even then it took me a whole two months of training to get to that level! And I STILL haven't gotten rid of strain!

    stretching helps though.

  • permit me to translate 5:03

he's saying, that psychological state of mind, and the rhythm of breathing, are linked together. If a person is mentally well balanced, the air pressure inside the body matches that of the outside, if a person has emotional extremes, then it causes an inbalance of the air molecules within the body because the person isn't breathing right.

  • what he meant by "increasing air pressure," later in that speech, was the idea of saturating the internal organs with oxygen, not increasing actual air pressure. I think what he meant by "air pressure" was air flow, and how the body absorbs air particles. Emotional extremes, affect the intake of vital particles in the air which maintain optimal tissue function. Deep breathing, saturates the tissues, making the body healthier.

  • the way iron shirt works, is that once optimal energy circulation is achieved, although not clearly explained, optimal chi circulation creates a "field" of energy just beyond the skin, that protects it from many kinds of injury. This is mostly concerned with health though, not martial arts.

  • very good i understand now.

  • wow thats so kool

  • very interesting

  • That's right, they were just playing amateur no-account athlete to spare my feelings. Raising body temp? Oh goodness! Slept 8 hours wrapped in a sheet in sub-zero temps? You are gullible, no such credible studies exist. But you're honest enough to admit there are parlor tricks and BS.

As far as seperating babes from bathwater, I already did that for you. Relaxation technique and Mental Imaging, those are the babies, the rest is dirty chia-type bathwater.

  • You've met them? Of course, they immediately revealed all for your expert evaluation. Sure, there are a lot of parlor tricks and B.S. in this and related areas, but don't throw the baby out with the bath water. I guess monks who use tumo meditation to raise their body temp. to an unnatural high level, and can sleep out in sub freezing weather with just a thin linen sheet are only fooling themselves and us. If this is all placebo, then teach me to self delude cause you version of reality sucks!

  • You are likely obsessed with notions of supernatural abilities, but I've met dozens of folks who have done this stuff for years. I even met chia. None of them had any unusual or exceptional physical skills or abilities, not even chia himself.

Meantimes the valuable stuff Internal training once had, having to do with relaxation and mental imaging skills, is lost in all this silly balogna. But do go on squeezing your pinky and making funny noises if it makes you happy.

  • Ignorance often is displayed as arrogant cynicism. You obviously have never done chi kung.

  • He's the BEST!!! i been practicing Tai Chi with William CC Chen and once i picked up one of Mantak Chia's books on the side .. it was like a book of secrets . everything became so easy to achive :) he's the Man.. i hope to go to thailand to attend his courses

  • I think he might be dead.. I saw an "RIP Chia" on a few of his videos a few days ago. Don't take my word for it though, might just be some trolls failing.

  • He's very much alive and his work is better than ever.

  • I completely agree! When my friend and I apply these principals to Wing Chun it makes so much sense! When the same structure is used everything works great! The rootedness gained is amazing! "Book of secrets" exactly!!

  • you have to get this guy's dvd's. i've just done one of the energy cultivation meditations and i feel buoyant and alive. bear in mind that i have been feeling low for almost two years. amazing stuff, highly recommended!!!!!!

  • Amazing, I LOVE Mantak Chia he is so awesome.

  • That was great

    :)

  • where can i find his videos É

  • He's great eh! There's a lot of good information here.

  • Right on. I love this guy. I was first introduced to his work through Chi Nei Tsang.
