  • Is there any forum threads around that have a picture of every Honda gauge cluster?

I can't decide on which to fit now!

  • Hey! I want do it!! Please tell me how!! :D

  • Look gud bro

  • I just saw this and am totally blown away never thought it would,ve worked Im going to find a 2 door cluster this week, it should match My ap2 steering wheel and radio very nicely

Why wouldn't the temp gauge work? the sender has different resistance?

  • @boardinrider The 2003+ Civic does not have a wire for the temperature gauge. It runs off of a multiple control unit (Don't remember the exact name, but that's what it is). To get the temperature gauge working, you'd have to solder the temperature wire directly to the circuit board.

  • I hope it works in CR-V'97...

  • Works on 95 Eg???

  • @Gukguga Pretty sure it would. You just need the cluster pinouts for the 95 and 2003+

  • looks good!

  • that car most look beast at night!

  • I like the blue rings more bester

  • Good job! Looks cool. I just did it to my 99 with the blue guages. My Civic only has 32,000 miles now!!!

  • if i were to buy it from ebay, would it come with the harness, or if i got it from a junkyard. I want to do this cluster swap. Im just not too sure on how to do it. Any info would be greatfull.

  • great work bro, i've done a similar thing, i've put a 2005 DC5 Type R cluster in a 92 CRX. the Temp gauge does not work since the signal is digital coming from a Multiplex control module in the DC5. do me a favor buddy, can u give me the pin-outs for this cluster? thank you and once again great job and good luck with ur Honda.

  • @BABYGODZILLA2009 Hey man you ever get the temp guage working? Just did this to my 99 with the blue ring 06 cluster.

  • i want 1 of thos..can u give me a link on amzone or ebay plz..am out of united stats..can u help plz or any 1 plz ?!! thx appreciate

  • you got the wiring diagram?

  • Hey did you sell it ? if not yet I am interested in buying it ,

  • Lol your car does not have 23,000miles

  • @sakotaco16

Yep I kind of figured that out ; ). It's not able to be reprogrammed.

  • @SW20FL i think that u have u to buy it new in order for that

    lol

  • @PANAMERICANOPUTO92 Yeah. It sucks that it can't be adjusted. Some of the GM ones and other kinds of cars can be reprogrammed to whatever you want it to say in the event that the entire instrument cluster needs to be replaced.

  • I do have a question.....did you register your cluster on dmv? or u just simply swap the upper part of the cluster into the base of your cluster? Can you give me a big inmage on how this things working? I am really interested to swap one of this thing in my 00 ex...million of thanks!

  • @californiaalvin I don't understand what you mean by the upper part of the cluster. I took the entire cluster from the 2003-2005 Civic and got it to fit in my 97 DX. There is no need to register with the DMV, but make sure that you get a cluster with mileage close to what your original mileage is, or it will be marked down as odometer fraud. Also, I didn't get the check engine light functioning 100%. It needs to work to pass smog. I didn't have the time to deal with that living in Cali.

  • @SW20FL So, just simply pull out the old one and plug in the new one by matching the pin?

  • @californiaalvin Yes. You cut the dash harness and match the same function wires together to the new connectors. You will also need the connectors and about 6 inches of wiring from the 2003-2005 Civic to match the dash harness wires up with.

  • @californiaalvin lol u really think hes gona tell the dmv he changed clusters?? of course not you idiot, its america nobody gives a shit

  • Where can I find the pin outs for doing this? This looks bad ass...

  • those are nice, too bad they dont have the red line at 8xxx (not even the Si for that year)

thats why i got the AP2 s2000 clusters on my 2000 civic Si.

but yours look nice man. good job, keep em.

  • any chance of a write up !!!! i will be working on the temp gauge when i recive mine

  • @machine4321 Get temp guage working?

  • Yo.. that shit is ill.. how did you do it to work though? "dont think you can just "plug and play" ...I do have to ask though...whats up wit the 4500 rpm shift? not a VTEC? still a sick ass mod. please let us know how to hook the electricals up. HONDA!

  • @jeffprrsh Just gotta get the pinouts. You need to cut the dash harness to get it working. It's just a Civic DX d16y7. Just my commuter gas saver car.

  • hey bro, show me how did u wired that gauge on. does it fit too in a civic ek 99 4door?

  • ill pay you for the rite up

  • hey can you tell me where you got the wiring diagram for the 2005

  • damm that looks great
