ok i've had the enV2 for a little over a year and have had alot of problems with it. (ex. the front screen went out, end button on the front started to go out, and the battery wouldn't charge.) well i dropped it in water and got a replacement phone of the exact model. a week ago the battery, again stopped charging. so now i have the alias and i enjoy it. my personal opinion would be to get the alias but someone could like the enV2 better.

GET THE ENV2 it is so much easier to text on and even though the outside keyboard on mine doesnt work it is very durable

its one of the most durable phones ive owned

only problem ive had is the buttons scratched the screen but its barely noticeable

ive used an enV2 and I think its awkward to use and I have massive hands so I think the alias is the way to go

i had an Alias a while back. VERY good phone in my opinion. and very sturdy. i freakin washed it and it still worked. i replaced it for the Dare, which was awesome too. then i replaced that for the iphone which is cooler but a lot less sturdy

i have the enV2 it loses serice ALOT the fexternal keys broke in less then 2 months so i go for the alias for a winner its lighter smaller and wont be notisibe if its in your pocket and you ave tight pockets

Dont get the glyde. It is a horrible phone. The top flips off right when you glyde it up. I think the Alias is a dumb phone. It reminds me of a flip phone. When you flip it up, all of the letters in the texting pad are side - ways. Im getting the EnV2, I use my friends one a lot and it is awesome. The music player is excellent, the texting pad is great and it has a roomy number and key pad. The Voyager is pretty good too, but it's HUGE! So, if I were you I'd get the EnV2, or MAYBE the Voyager

i have the dare... i cant stand the texting cause its not real keys u can feel. so i might be tradeing for the alias. i used the have the first EnV and it was amazing to text on, very easy to use. i wouldnt recomend a fully touch screen phone if ur gunna be texting alot. but the dare was really good in controls, and the camera/camcorder was amazing. it just depends on what you are going to be doing with it the most. for texting... not the dare imo. i like keys you can feel, unlike the virtual 1s

well, speaking for my friends and i we don't call much, mostly we text. but i still make a call once in a while. and right now only one of us has a full qwerty, but i am getting EnV2 so then 2 out of 3 of us will be using qwerty's bu my other friend might get rumor. i 'm not sure why i'm telling you this, though but my other friend has the alias. so even tho you probably don't care. those are our opinions. we like the phones for what they are text messaging phones.

i think of the alias of a tiny wimpy cheap unsturdy lil shit, and the env as a huge big strong compact monster that has more futures. i have went to the verizon store once to try out the alias, and i didnt like it at all. its rly ugly from the front and on the inside. the env has bigger buttons all around and has a bigger better screen. as u can tell, i definatly recommend getting the env. and its rly easy to text on. im not saying that the alias isnt as easy to text on, but it sure is harder.

I love the Alias, but the battery life is HORRID! If you can get used to the QWERTY, you'll be fast as hell texting on it. It's really easy to use, and the menu is pretty nice. I'll truly miss it when I upgrade to the Dare.
