  • SCRAMBLER!

  • this makes me feel things i would otherwise feel towards an attractive girl. :D i want one

  • it should be name bevel cause katsuhiko's bevel cube exist or arrived first that adam helicopter cube...

  • Hm. What is the core for this? Custom core?

  • Yes, it is a custom 12-armed core. It has the symmetry of a rhombic dodecahedron.

(Why are people always so curious about cores? They're the least interesting part of the mechanism as far as I'm concerned.)

  • seriously, i posted a video of my version and someone asked about a core haha

  • couldn`t it be a megaminx core?????????????

  • No, while a megaminx core also has 12 axes they don't have the right angle. Tony's Hexaminx shows what would happen if you tried to make a helicopter cube with a megaminx core.

  • @TomPuzzle to know how it works and if its a ko puzzle

  • how much did it cost u to print it?

  • I had access to a 3D printer at cost of materials only. That way, it only cost like $50 to print, but if you are stuck with using a commercial service it will cost many times that.

  • oh wups

  • is this a weird moded skewb??

  • No. This puzzle has nothing to do with the skewb. A combination of a 2x2 and a skewb would look the same but this puzzle turns very differently.

  • awesome, really, really awesome, i just dont like that you see the mechanism because of the large gaps in peices, but still, really good job

  • If anyone would like to know, those gaps have come into existence due to the fillets. If you fillet a sharp-angled part it becomes a little smaller. To avoid this you would need to make the pieces a little larger before filleting so that they do end up correct. I didn't realize this when I made the puzzle.

  • how did you make that

  • It would really help if you read the description.

  • oh, sorry

  • Almost like the 4 dimensional 2x2x2x2 magic cube!

  • Smooth :)

Have you CADed that with Solidwork?

  • No, I used AutoCAD 2008.

  • Amazing!

  • WOW, NICE!!!

  • Thanks.
