All the Kompressor models from AMG in the 55 series have a top speed when ungoverned of 170... they're gov'd at 155... The 335 unfoverned does the same top speed... these two cars the (AMG CLS 55 and the 335 are limited by drag... Tq is 0-70 mph after that it all hp... The AMG would catch and pass the 335 at about 130 from zero, but till then the 335 would trounce the AMG if it was tuned. torksMonster is clueless.......

I had a c32 amg which is only a 3.2 liter I was able to hit 171mph my top speed read 180 but I didn't have the nutsack for that. and btw it's funny how 335s try racing stock amg's and stock m's to try to prove something and if they win they throw a party
I sold the 335i, bought an 06 cls55, put about 5k into the engine to hit 575 lbtq and 497 rwhp... and I miss the 335i...
and don't forget, to put a 335 into the 11's 1/4 mi, only takes about 4 - 5 k, at the most... don't under-estimate them. they're pretty sweet and handle much better than the cls55, this is something you cannot deny.
btw, ive been 193mph in the cls after the mods... scaaary fast.

But I Have seen 335s hit faster 0-60s depends on the driver(and brake launch) and for the record the N54 motor can handle up to 18psi of boost charl1exbrown.that car first came out in europe boosted at like 19psi, but pissed off M5/6 owners when they got smoked by a 3..lol.

The new M3 is listed to dart from 0-60 in 4.8 but car and driver tested one that did it in 4.1. And i would not be surprised at all if a 335 would woop a cls b/c ive been really surprised at some cars that ive beat at drag tracks.

thats completely and utterly wrong. first of all, just because dinan modifies the car does not mean bmw will warranty it. what actually happens is dinan will give you a warranty of THEIR OWN, whether or not bmw leaves your warranty intact. thats their selling point.
ps. 0-60 times dont mean much. Just cause a car can get to 60 mph quicker doesnt mean its faster. My buddies RS4 whips my ass from 0-60 and in the 4th mile but he hasnt got a shot when we'r on the back roads

Actually...I have an 07 Vantage for the weekend and I race my GT3 on the track. The 335i V2 is my commuter. Oh and I also have a Cessna 350 in the hanger.

@chris7716 - the benz would hit the gas... keep in mind.. these are like 0 - 80 runs... at 80 mph.. he takes off like a rocket... the bmw is quick and nimble... CLS55 = torque monster.
for anybody who is familiar with a cls55 amg, it has a 3 rib grille on the front. this car in this video has the standard cls grille it is not a true amg. they just put the badges..haha
Well Put Chris. It just so happens that the whistling you hear is the supercharger, and the grille is an aftermarket Brabus Grille. The Grille was 2k. Congrats on knowing your CLS55's though. Douche.
