  • The second unit is an Ex Milwaukee GP40, and is still rated as a GP40 on CPs roster. Soo Line never had GP40-2s, just 40s. The train ID is 580, it runs from Saint Paul to LaCrosse.

  • i like hastings a lot

  • I live in Hastings, and this crossing is now a quiet zone, and the other one is sealed off by a gate.

  • Good job Anthony. I'm going to save this video so I can make trains like that. I'm going to sound alias my MLT CP GP38-2s to some of my SP units, and put a former Soo unit behind it to make a grainer like that. Dude, you live in an awesome place to railfan in.

  • Nice Video Anthony!! Nice catch on the GP-40X!!

  • GP38-2. Thanks

  • Ohhh really? Maybe it's a rebuilt or something because GP-38-2s don't have flarred radiators. Unless CP ordered them that way. Could be a GP-38AC, don't know.

  • If you listened to my narration you would have heard what it is. ;)

  • Ohh wups!! :) Everytime I have listened to this, I couldn't hear the narration. Sorry!!

  • They're ex-UP, rebuilt by NREX.
