A hell of a horse indeed, but don't forget Dan Patch. Born in 1896, set the world record at 1:55 and 1/4 wich stood for 32 years in 1906. 103 years ago, without todays vets, equipement and training facilities. Hat's off to both, and many others.

Somebeach is something special. He is a very talented horse. I was very impressed with him last night. I wanted Bandlands Nitro to win, but no one was going to beat Somebeach. He is just too good.
