try getting bleach in us or a really good kind it pb cost 30 if u go to the store but then u got shipping and u should twist ur hair and then clip them
I got those redken products from a blog/store called Killerstrands. I am sure that someone on eBay likely sells them although some companies are pretty good about trying to shut down any sellers that sell to non-professionals.
@forloveellie If you want to get rid of the black then yes I would recommend a color remover. it is really hard to get a good one without a beauty license though. There's one called color zap but I never had great luck with it.
@Legenderella I bleach and dye on the same day all the time. I really recommend a strand test when doing drastic things. You never know how your hair may react and once you get into it - it could be too late. And yes deep conditioning is KEY!
@sexysalsa67 I guess its to each his own but I really don't like either of the colors in this video. I don't think I ever mentioned that blonde is everything but I like to mix it up for sure.
@Delacourtesan ooh 20 volume doesn't work on my roots been doing it for years and my hair is super resistant - even with the heat from being close to the scalp.
I bleached my hair, only the bottom part and it's blonde, the top is brown, it's really nice.
// I've got a brass color in my hair too but it's pretty and I'm gonna make my hair in more blonde, I know it's a bad Idea after bleaching but I want it like.. WHITE
is it a bad idea to dye bleached hair after a few months?

@Green2315 sorry I just got around to looking at comments. I want mine white too - well I did anyway but wasn't able to achieve it as I didn't want it to be white and frizzy. you wouldn't dye your hair white you would bleach it as bleaching removes color and dye adds. If it's been a few months you should have an issue either bleaching or dying.
@rikku986 any boxes that you get you should follow directions unless you have a lot of experience with doing your own hair. I think most kits contain 20 volume developer and its the strongest for the 1st 20 minutes - 30 volume for 30 min and 40 volume for 40 minutes. Bleaches will lighten after those time frames but it slows down soooo much. When I use 40 volume and bleach more than once in a setting - I do 40 minutes on the first bleach - rinse - dry to damp then bleach again
omg yea, i shouldve got that color remover too. cuz my hair is naturally brown and i died it to a chocolate brown and then i wanted platinum and went to some lady at a hair place to bleech it but it took forever and like 1/2 an inch had to be cut off cuz it fried the ends... but its all good hairs all platinum now n still has that healthy feel to it
hii i completly understand uu when u say u didnt have the resources, im in taiwan and it has been a nightmare trying to explain the ladyes in the shop about my hair becoming orange blablabla, actually i bleached my hair and bought an hairdye that i'venever see the name before, and i dont want to be blonde i just wanted from black to like a chestnut brown but the hair dye was #47 and my bleached hair just became more blonde!! no brown! what do u think might happen?? why the "toner" failed :(
I actually did get a platinum blonde in one sitting overnight at home lol but it fried my hair so i couldnt use a straightener on it and it took about an hour but it was really pretty and it only took about a month to restrengthen my hair
IT's not hard to bleach your hair from home. I personally two tone my hair and it's so not difficult. Just takes a little time to learn. Plus saves so much money! Great job here! Love the hair (:
getting ur hair blonde the way u want its hard so i go to a salon plus dont rely on box color and demi dyes dont lighten it just deposits color ur better off going to the salon
is it a toner or shampoo? its the purple shampoo rite? so i just needa bleached my hair n then use the shampoo n the yellow undertone will be gone rite?
Well, in my experience I have to tone to remove the yellow. If you go to Sally's the lady working there will help you pick one out that works for you, there are like 20. I do love the bluing shampoo, it basically keeps up what the toner removed but I wouldn't use it in place of a toner. :)
Whenever I bleached my hair, I never really bothered separating it. Just mixed it all in and used a comb to even it all out. It always came out great. My hair was maybe 7 inches longer than yours, I quit though ;( At one time I thought dark brown was better than blonde! :( :(
i always got like orange lol. my hair is completely fried because i dyed it a diff color every two weeks lol blue, pink, black, brown, purple you name it. i can never get it prep blonde tho lol
wow the toner made it look fabulous. have you ever tried clairol stage 7 lighteners? you can get them at sally's, they are specifically made for going up 8-10 levels, and i have a level 4, and it brought my hair to a level 8 or 9 after 3 bleaches. and it also didn't suck the moisture out of my hair. which was so shocking for me.
what Volume did you use with the bleach? my natural hair is a lvl 7 and I can get away with using 30vol and only doing one application and it's platinum blonde. Good vid though, I didn't know you could suction cup mirrors
I know - the point of the video was more to show that Platinum doesn't happen quickly all the time. In my newer videos you'll see that it is much more platinum now.
Okay, my hair is dark brown with a red tint in. I want to bleach it platinum blond. A hairstylist told me it would take 3 applications, from brown to coper, to orange/yellow then to white... It would cost $200 unfortunately. If I can get my mom to let me do it myself for cheaper, how much would the product you used cost and would other bleach work as effectively? Would some of my hair fall out due to damage of so much bleaching? And I'm so jealous because you live in Korea..
I know you have probably asked someone before and they are going to have the same answer as i am right now. But i cant stress enough that if you find yourself asking other if its a good idea to bleach your hair yourself, it probably isnt. Considering that your hair is a dark brown. i went to my hair salon and she highlighted my hair, and then i went back 3 more times, and by the end my hair was fully blonde. After that you can bleach your hair if you want and it will only take one time.
Good advice for sure BUT to everyone out there don't think that just because you go to a salon doesn't mean you will get what you want. The reason I started doing my own hair was because of that. There is enough info out there to do just as good of a job on your own hair as someone else can.
Bleaching can irritate your scalp and it can ruin your hair... you should educate yourself prior to doing your own hair. Remember though hair does grow back :P
I totally agree with you. I should have had more bleach. I was trying to just do the ends first but I just didn't have enough bleach. I'm going to do it again this weekend and put in the pirouette.
i think you should use two applications at once because I have hair like yours, it's short but pretty thick for white girl hair lol. Anyways, I think you need to definitely SATURATE that hair. it didn't look like enough to even totally wet all of your hair. I had that happen once, not fun. Just really coat it good. good luck!
hey candeelion im also a killerstrands member. I think some of your hair is stuck at the gold stage still, just remember that you dont have to bleach all the hair, (like the bits that are right) none the less you did a great job. =)
Hi fellow KillerStrander! I think my big problem was that I didn't have enough bleach. I didn't have any access to more so I'm stuck with what I've got :(
Your hair turned out so well! I personally do not use toner or any special conditioner for my hair and I can achieve platinum in two sessions, usually in the same day. I haven't fried out my hair yet haha, so I must be lucky. I think you give great advice in a friendly way and I look forward to more videos in the future.
if she thinks her hair is long, let her fucking think so! maybe what she means is that it's longer that she usually have it or that it's longer than she likes.
my hair reatches to my ass and i think that is maybee to long.

Hey, Im in the process of bleaching my hair as well.
Just a tip. Leave Olive oil on your hair for 1 full day. sleep with a plastic bag over your head if youre worried about the oil on your bed.
Olive oil conditions the hair and lets the colour take alot better.
Italians used it which is why their hair is SUPER shiny.
Good Luck :D
