this is actually a really good song! ok, maybe a few of the lyrics are a tad Cheesy like the rest of the album. but this really is a nice song! Now, Nightwish may be a little different, but even so, if you were true fans of the BAND and not just the singers of said band, then you would suck it up and respect Tuomas's decision to replace Tarja. He did it because of the well-being of the whole BAND, not just the singer(s). And if you don't agree with his decision, fine. Go listen to another band. But don't you dare attack a singer when she did absolutely nothing wrong. If you don't like her singing, then that's okay, don't listen to her.
well, the vocals do usually have a big influence on whether or not you like a band... yeah, people shouldnt attack annette, but they can let their opinion of her singing be known. i dont think she can really hit higher notes, and is better when she stays within a certain range. i dont think she is really suited for NW though.
And FYI, Amy Lee is the singer that got me into this genre, and while I agree that she's not the only good singer out there, and that her style isn't the same as Tarja's or whatever, I still like her and occasionally listen to her music. And to have people personally attack another person just because they like (or dislike) a certain singer, is offensive and rude. Grow the fuck up, your opinion isn't law or truth, and it doesn't make a differing opinion "wrong" or "stupid."
And when you come on here just to attack a singer, it really pisses me off, because if you hate that singer as much as you claim you do, then you shouldn't have clicked the damn link!
Now, I'm a fan of BOTH Tarja and Anette, I think that each of them is unique and good in their own special way. But to compare two completely different singers with two completely different styles, is just stupid.

this is actually a really good song! ok, maybe a few of the lyrics are a tad Cheesy like the rest of the album. but this really is a nice song! I hope her next album is a bit better though. oh! and I would love to hear her reach a few higher notes in the studio. yes I know she can go very High but i would love to her it aswell!

Now, Nightwish may be a little different, but even so, if you were true fans of the BAND and not just the singers of said band, then you would suck it up and respect Tuomas's decision to replace Tarja. He did it because of the well-being of the whole BAND, not just the singer(s). And if you don't agree with his decision, fine. Go listen to another band. But don't you dare attack a singer when she did absolutely nothing wrong. If you don't like her singing, then that's okay, don't listen to her.

but they didn´t simply replace tarja it should be differant
and not just put a copy of tarja in it, she is to unique to replace. so to bad she left.

well, the vocals do usually have a big influence on whether or not you like a band... yeah, people shouldnt attack annette, but they can let their opinion of her singing be known. i dont think she can really hit higher notes, and is better when she stays within a certain range. i dont think she is really suited for NW though.

And FYI, Amy Lee is the singer that got me into this genre, and while I agree that she's not the only good singer out there, and that her style isn't the same as Tarja's or whatever, I still like her and occasionally listen to her music. And to have people personally attack another person just because they like (or dislike) a certain singer, is offensive and rude. Grow the fuck up, your opinion isn't law or truth, and it doesn't make a differing opinion "wrong" or "stupid."

Now, I'm a fan of BOTH Tarja and Anette, I think that each of them is unique and good in their own special way. But to compare two completely different singers with two completely different styles, is just stupid.

Just because a singer has a different style than what you are used to, DOES NOT mean that it is necessarily a bad thing....it's just different. And if you don't like a singer, then there's a simple solution to that: don't listen to her music. It's not that hard.

I can't argue with any1 who says Tarja HAS a perfect voice, let's face it anything she sings looks just perfect! But come on i think it's time some of you stop insulting Annete, they have diferent styles, and if Tuomas decided she is good enough she must be worth something. Tough i prefer Nightwish with Tarja, they aren't together anymore, so just enjoy Tarja solo Album and give Annete a chance, if not at least stop insulting her, it ain't her fault Tarja left.

personaly, I think trhat Tarja is THE BEST SINGER that have never exists and its amazing the way that she can sing with metal musik.
I love metal but if Tarja sings another kind of music I'll listen to it without getting tired. Anette sings worse that my cat when it hurts!! LOL

Anette is horrible, listen closely to her voice, it's not good at all... It sounds like every other pop singer out there... Reminds me so much of Amy Lee, and Amy Lee has always been freakin bad. Tarja is one fucking million times better than Anette will EVER be, period. Tarja's voice is probably one of the fucking top voices in the classical/opera class. Anette is probably not even in the top 10,000 pop voices. She can blow a goat. She ruined Nightwish IMO.

hahaha! sorry to burst your ignorant bubble but that's not true. Annette rocks!! and if your ass would listen closely, Tarja sounds just like every other classical singer in fact i have listened to many classical singers and they can all hit much higher notes than Tarja. I'm not sorry to say that if the best classical singers in the world were rounded up, she would'nt even come close to making that group. face it she's at the bottom of the barel when it comes to true classical singing.

Right, because being able to hit high notes makes you a good singer, right? I don't need to fucking listen closely. I've seen Nightwish with Tarja... I've seen Nightwish with Anette... Have you seen Nightwish live with both singers? Probably not. Tarja has her own unique style live. You probably wouldn't know that though because you live in a dark basement and you probably don't leave your house to actually see a concert. Stop basing your stupid comments off recordings.
