How would I go about hooking my MacBook pro up (wirelessly or wired) to my Nikon D300 still camera?

So I can use my Mac as a larger stills camera monitor as I shoot, and as soon as I take a pic, I instantly see the pic on the Mac screen.

Thanks, but In the process I find my pc is so antiquated it doesnt even have the firewire inputs so I find you can get a firewire card wihch I have now ordered.
