I heard this song for the first time in 25 years as I was caring for an actively dieing man. It struck me so deeply because I hadn't heard this song since struggling with addiction and abuse issues as a young girl. Thank you for writing this simple song that means so much.

Libby, I love "how could anyone". I have a personal connection with it through Shaina Noll's cd who recorded it beautifully...it makes me cry everytime I listen to it. Thank you for creating it. :)

Hey Libby,

I hope you get a lot of responses to this contest. This song has deeply touched my life since I first heard at a Charlie Kreiner workshop in 1990 -- I have since heard it so many different environments, retreats, church etc etc. I have to commend all of your music but your tape/CD, which this song was publicly introduced, is stellar -- June
