I finished Blitzkrieg 1, Rolling Thunder and Burning Horizon. Now I'm getting Blitzkrieg 2 and Fall of the Reich. I really recommend Rolling Thunder and Burning Horizon. Fun to replay Patton and Rommel campaigns.
I dont know ... I played B2 but I still think that the original was better. Harder and needed more micromanagement but that was what made it great. B2 is just too arcade style for me and I didnt really feel the need to loose as little troops as possible, instead I just rushed ... and won :/
Yep, in the first game you could use stealth more. recce enemy positions and hit'em with long range artillery. B2 you just rush the enemy with as much armour as you can...still enjoyable though.
one thing i like about this game is the music.. its epic.. i would blast the volume to the max and the music is so dam epic and the sounds of war (gun fire, artillery shelling) would make me feel as if im a commander on the field ordering my units to get the job done

Yeah, playing the Germans was very difficult, I got frustrated with the German campaign, I was under-supplied, couldn't get any progress going. I had some good heavy tanks, they just turned to rubble from the endless assaults by the Soviets. If only I had a good supply of Tiger Tanks and troops, I would of won the campaign lol.
i have blitzkrieg1 and blitzkrieg 2 FOTR but i personally prefer blitzkrieg 1 and even though it used 2-d graphics i think they are better than FOTR's.
The only thing that faggots say BKII sucks is because they lack strategic points of 3D WWII RTS games. Normally u would have covered ur tank very well behind an 2D building, But u need to check all flanks. The only thing i find sucking about BKII, Is the Airborne reinforcements (Elite Squads).
1 plane and a few men with silenced weapons and NO grenades, hope theyll make an patch or bring it out on an expasion
It was more dificult (you had less units) but 2nd version is more strategic. Planes,artillery, and rocket artillery was VERY WEAK in Blitzkrieg 1. Blitzkrieg 2 and B2 Fall of the reich is the best strategic game about WWII.
maybe its because players are having more caution in there? This is far diffrend then B1. U need to have a real good cover , and not just hide ur tank behind a 2D building.
And maybe its because guys r having bad strategies. U need to look down the field with panning and rotating before u lift off
my fav. unit in this game is rocket lunchers

and played blitzkrieg 2 and burning horizon
and am getting blitzkrieg 2: liberation on wednsday
blitzkrieg 2 is far superior 2 the previous games and is also a bit more strategic
