hi original, i'm thinking of buying a derringer 28 with s8 trucks cause i like a short board but also hills. i weigh about 50 kilos soand i was wondering what colour springs do you thin i should get black or red? as i said i like going fast down hills but also carving, what is your opinion.

@myface132 The Derringer should work for you- go for the red springs to help stabilize the trucks. Its definitely not a board intended for bombing, but can take on speeds up to 30mph or so. It will excel as a carver w/ S8 trucks for sure.

The apex 37 Is really expensive, for me, the specs i want would be 317$ default + 60$, and I have just about 250$, I could get it to 300$ if i really try, Do you have a cheaper solution, I am only Fifteen so my resources are limited, is there any cheaper board that would be good for me?

@SpooseXD Hey Spoose, I can understand that. You can absolutely check out the Pintail 37 or Pintail 40 to get started, the new Original Freeride deck will also be coming out next month some time. That would be a good option for you if you want something like the Apex thats a bit cheaper.

Watching these last 7 episodes made me think about doing something sick this summer. Even if it is something as small as just going out amd ride for an hour.

This was the second time watching the series, but this time, i noticed all the cinematography skills and editing skills that went into it, and how they had to choose music that sounds good with wherever they are, and just all the stuff you have to think about, that goes into making a movie as good as this.

Hey original, I've got a sector 9 bamboo board (I'm planning on getting an original at the start of the season though) but theres a crack running down the deck, its about 6 inches long now. How bad is that? should I just retire the board alltogether just to be safe?

And I;m thinking about getting the malakai 40 for cruising with, I prefer longerboards around 40-48 inches.

I'm also thinking about getting a shorter deck for skatepark seshs, around 39 inches.

@originalboarder1 Either of those boards would be great for a flatland-surfy feel. The main difference between the two boards is the flex: the malakai is a bit stiffer while the torpedo is flexier.
