  • same hear except my set up in a finished attic and using a 10' by 12.5 space and want a bigger screen but can't have it hanging due to the triangle shape I have up there

  • nice I have similar setup with a focupix screen same size

  • @plexfam Nice. I wish I could go a bit bigger but on the wall that I've got, its about as big as I can go unless I redo the basement. Maybe next house :)

  • You could try some raal tweeters, their frequency is flat as they get. Don't know if you want to run a active Crossover.

  • @MKBEntertainment Hmm those are some mighty expensive tweeters. I'm planning on building some speakers for my fronts and center so they are all matching. To stay within my budget theme, I'm doing the parts express tritrix design which are based on dual 5.25" and tweeter in a MTM configuration. I'm also going to do a single large sub cabinet using my 12" drivers in a transmission line. It will be massive but hopefully all will turn out great.

  • @svtcontour yah they cost quite a bit. But that's the best stuffs in the DIY world atm that I know off. Sure beats spending 10k+ for some speakers.

Very good bang for the buck 1650 ;)

btw, why not dual subs? Some LMS-R wouldn't hurt ;) or even the 5400. TD18H are supposed to be great too. I only got my old yamaha receiver as a pre amp, parasound amp, Energy speakers, just as 2 ch, no center a okay veleodyne.and a TV. Really would like to get a projector though =D

  • its not ghetto it's f--kin sweet i like what you did trust me i saw my bro's home theater go to geather when he did it himself and it was f--ked real ghetto but now he had "intellamax" do it and it's coming along well now. at least you started with good stuff he had crap when he started very nice job dude

  • @kado7732 Thanks man :) Well I'm slowly working my way up. Its all about learning and enjoying mostly and I guess my ghetto comment was how this looks compared to big dollar setups. I guess it doesnt really matter. When the lights go out, its all fun :)

  • @DjCantFuckinMIx What can I say but I like to tinker with old stuff. I really like this movie as well.

  • Nice set up i like them front speakers

  • @DarkinvadeherRennie Thanks. The fronts are old Celestion DL8 from the early 80's. I like them quite a bit :)
