Sheikh Hamza never "worked" with the Bush admin, he has never condoned homosexuality, he does not want Islam to change, he wants the Muslims to change. @chargedchaos Very fair point Brother/Sister. It's just that Hamza Yusuf tends to do talk about the West, and America in particular because he is American himself, and addresses his own people.

He makes many good points when talking about the BS the government does and how we are content with our work-eat-watch tv life. Ultimately though his religion is still bad philosophy based on delusions. People need to learn how societies work and about human behaviors discussed in the relevant soft sciences. Then we can see the patterns of behaviors that everyone exhibits in every institution created by us. We also need to to learn about how the universe works in the hard sciences.
