Radiotherapy - Brain Tumour treatment in December 2003

I have an anaplastic grade III Oligo and underwent RT in March 2009. I had a plastic mesh mask which meant my eyes were shut throughout.....good to finally see what was happening! Although the LINAC machine moved around my head without them having to re-enter and realign. Hope you continue to stay well (Buttercup is what I named my tumour)

As a fellow current Oligondrioma patient let me tell you this is great. I was allowed to liten to music during my treatment, it made time go quickly and stay positive. Not sure of your status but keep up the good spirits

Thanks juliojlerma, I had another operation last May to drain cystic fluid which had built up around where the initial/residual tumour was. Surgeon very optimistic that he'd been able to remove practically all remaining tumour. I remain optimistic for the future. I hope your treatment goes as successfully as mine has.
