my brother got to fly the f-16 as a crew chief for his 'incentive flight'. I am so proud o him, as soon as i can i will upload this flight to Youtube. Go Kevin!!!
OH MAN... that music... I had forgotten that music... what a flood of memories. I swear, every a/c I trained on had some corny music that would just annoy the hell out of you. Go eat some chinese food, put on your nomex flight suit, and come back after lunch, run this video in a darkened class room and try and stay awake.
if you want even more realism added to the falcon 4.0 sims. wire actual toggle switches, rotaries, buttons, etc etc. It makes the game so much more immersive. I recently built a cockpit based on this sim and its a ton more fun. Not as expensive as one may think.
It's not bold - Falcon 4.0 with the later addon mods like RV, OF or AF is the most detailed and copmlete study sim (f16 or otherwise) you can obtain on the PC.
Well man, not 100% cause that means to be there on the cockpit of a real F16 but the sistems that u have on the cockpit are 100% exactly as u saw on this video and all the knobs and gauges are the same as on the real plane. The graphics are not so good. If u wanna see how it is search for the game here in You tube to see some videos.
It was developed with Pete Bonanni, an F-16 instructor pilot. You get to fly the block 50/52s, 40s, and I think 30s also. Almost every weapon/payload in the AF's inventory (other than a nuke) that was available when the game shipped. You get all the functionality of the radar, including all the submodes, ground, gmt, sea, TWS, RWS, Boresight, etc. You can go on Wild Weasel missions, SEAD, CAS, Strike...Not 100%, but probably at 99.999
You can even perform the startup procedure like the pilot in the video. And if you mess up and waste the hydraulic pressure, you have to tell the crew chief to pump you back up--which I heard isn't very fun.
F4, even OF is not 100% realistic, it has about 50-60% of the real jet's avionics (which is still a lot, of course). Still it's the best sim out there IMO. And no, you can't have the crew chief recharge the JFS bottles in Falcon.
@cribster123 its actuilly by far diffrent then any other flight simulator, but ofcourse there are things that arent working there some classified things, but in open falcon nearly most of the bottums have some effect
@cribster123 Well, if you're looking for F-16 sim even more realistic than F 4.0 AF you should try an Open Falcon 4.7 - almost every single switch/button in F-16's cockpit is modelled ingame to fulfill it's function ;)
@cribster123 I would recommend F4 BMS, there are a few things that aren't available but you can do everything from AA, AG, even messing with the DTC, and do anything that you can find in any video or find in any publicised instructions.
@GhostFight3r F4AF is not too realistic, if you need realism you need Falcon 4 BMS 4.32!!! or Open Falcon 4.7 (this is addon for Falcon 4) For AF version is only one addon: FreeFalcon aka Red Viper whitch changing some thing in avionics too. So all Falcon 4 series simulators are not 100% realistic. So better avionics in Falcon 4 series have Falcon BMS 4, Allied Force have the poorest avionics in Falcon 4 series.
Open falcon is very realistic.... but nothing can be copared to the reall thing !

yes, it like he say.
I've falcon 4.0 allied force too, and i think that his realism is very immersive. One of the best simulators in the world, in my opinion.
If you use falcon 4.0 allied force in a serious community you can enjoy very well ^^
bye

Yea Great. If u want a 100% real simulator of this plane, get Falcon 4 Allied Force game

Haven't played that one yet...but your claim of 100% real is a bold statement. Not sure if you understand what, "100%" or "real", actually means!
