  • Well done!

    Thank you.

    Please do for longer duration.

  • @robertgift I didn't want to waste anyone's time so I was aiming for the shortest version.

There is always a replay button. Unless you think it should include more details or different angles.

    Thanks.

  • if i cant sleep tonicht i just have to watch this video thanks ;)

  • @multiachraf100 I am glad I can help.

  • Very cool videos, thank you for sharing!

  • Okay, so here's a question. What's the function of that backward-L-shaped arm thing on the far right, just to the left of the cylinder? I get what everything else does, except that.

  • @JETZcorp This backward L shaped thing consists of combination lever (vertical part) and union link. I think it is suppose to improve timing of control valve. (and therefor efficiency). It also make the valve move a little when radius rod is set in neutral position. But I am not know for sure. Ask Google for more information.

  • wiki/Walschaerts_valve_gear

  • @JETZcorp the cut away video model, it does nothing. this video, it's on the arm, not direct connected so it has a gearing effect, just a little bit, lessening how far the valve gear moves

  • There's a beautiful simplicity about this gear...

  • Have you made anymore video's like this? You did a very good job on this one!

  • This is my only video about Walschaerts valve gear for now.

(I did also a folding chair, but it is not so interesting)

    Thank you.

  • Bravo !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • Grazie.

    Thanks.
