  • i think it sounds more like the berlin brats than the germs.

  • @raindogred You meant to write Rocket From The Tombs (not Crypt). We predate all those acts you mention. Our first gig as the Imperial Dogs was on March 28,1974. Our last gig came in March, 1975. We'd all played together from 1972-73 under other monikers. Check the Imperial Dogs site for more info and links to press coverage.

  • This video was shot in 1974. The Germs didn't play their first gig until 1977. I think Darby -- who we first met at Rodney Bingenheimer's English Disco back when he was still calling himself Bobby Pyn -- was like us, a big Iggy Pop fan.

  • @imperialdogs01 something about those damned stooges and the mc5 eh?? spawned generations of bands.. You guys must have been about the first along with those rocket from the crypt dudes. Here is Australia there was a couple of notables radio birdman ('74) and Kid Gallahad and the Eternals (later the Saints-I'm stranded) around that time. When did the Imperial dogs actually start playing??? very interested..tell me some cool stuff..

  • Reminds me of the Germs. The lead singer must have been a big Darby Crash fan.

  • I heard Alvis Costello was in this band

  • Punk! I love it!
