See. The awesome thing about Myles is that he's an incredible singer - one of the best rock has ever seen, on the account of his outstanding vocal range - and he plays guitar. Well. And it's great to have a rhythm guitarist along with a lead, but Mark had to do both in Creed (I don't know if he still does) at the same time. Myles is great because his style is deeply influenced, just by listening to this, by the greats (Jimi Hendrix, SRV, mix of delta blues, Led Zeppelin). Crazy awesome.

Well i'm a HUGE AB fan and I have seen interviews where Mark says that in his opinion Myles Kennedy is one of the best singers around right now. Alter Bridge had to actually pay to play when they first started out, they were paying more for travel costs than they were getting back through ticket sales. Thats thankfully improved now, I know it's each to their own tastes but I think Myles is great and at least Mark isn't having to control a drunk singer on stage.

Myles was a crazy jazz-fusion guitarist before the mayfield four. In fact, you will probably find this hard to believe, but he was better then Mark Tremonti is now (jazz-fusion is crazy, crazy stuff, believe me, look up the Cosmic Dust Fusion Band sometime). Myles could shred and play jazz at the same time. obviously based on this video, Tremonti is definetly better then Myles is now though. But Myles has moved to focus on singing instead of guitar, so its understandable.
