What? This is not a simple surgery. This is major surgery. I was born with bunions on both of my feet. I had surgery for one foot. They also placed a subtalar implant behind my ankle because I have flat feet. I am thinking of filing malpractice against the surgon which is another surgery. Please weigh the pros and cons of bunion surgery. I'm now afraid to get the other foot done. It's definatey not a simple recovery or surgery. Maybe for some it is but mine wasn't.
i have what appears to be a bunion but it didnt happen cuz of shoes and it didnt hapen gradually i jumped off something and landed wrong and it swelled up and never went down but i cant bend it in certain ways cuz it hurts like hell.
i was in church last sunday in hills and notice i was limping. now by this sunday i was still in hills but was in pain also. i hope idont havebunions!!!! no nono !!!! no no no!!! bunions! give me funions !
i had this done on may 13th I'm still not walking can anyone give me any advice and also my scar goes done the middle of my foot not the side and is 4 inches long shaped like a lightning bolt?
On the bone...the bunion develops on the metatarsal (the big/great toe bone) and shifts outwards, towards the 2nd toe. Read it here:
This shift causes a bump at the inside of the big toe's first joint. As a bunion grows, it can lead to other painful foot problems, including hammertoes, calluses on the bottom of the foot and arch pain.
Shitty and dangerous video! Hallux valgus surgery is much more complicated than this implies...

If you keep wearing hills all the time, you'll develop bunions. Guaranteed.

Is it possible for you to post a video of a patient having their sesamoid bones removed? It's difficult to find such video thanks!
