where can u save the copies of the websites?? i mean the ones that you did dragged from safari? i tried saving them to my documents but when i went to open up the websites from the dock the apps i made didn't load. please help me

i did everything u said to do but none of my applications will move to provide space for the 3 sites i did can u help me fix this issue please

@djrox666 make sure there is enough room in your dock, and also make sure you saved the websites as applications (not workflows)... if i didn't answer your question, its most likely because i dont know what you are talking about. please tell me exactly what part of the video is not working for you. For example write 2:15 or whatever time you need help with.

Now the two new "icons" are out on the desktop but can I move it into a folder and still open it up if i don't want things on my screen besides for in my dock?

I hope you understand what I mean because my computer is in Danish so it's hard to know all the apple words in english too.. (:

@Jeanutti yes. just make sure that your main website file doesn't move! you can move the newly made apps (from automator) anywhere you want and it will still work. but not the source file.

@thaddadian But isn't it possible to have the source files another place than out on the screen? Can't they just be in a folder and stay there and not be deleted?

I tried to put the files into a folder before putting them into the automator and you know making the new apps. So they are in a folder instead of on the screen. It worked a little, they are out on my dock and the source files are still in the folder, BUT when I open a site it opens all or some at the same time........ :S

@Jeanutti when you are making the app, it doesnt matter where the main file is stored. it can be in any folder you want, as long as it doesnt move...

and when you make your app, make sure you only drag ONE website file into automater per app. (im not yelling... im just emphasizing "one")

Whenever i try to "copy" on the get info page it won't let me copy anything. the copy option is grayed out in the edit menu.

make sure that you have the little icon on the left top corner highlighted in blue. thennnnnn you copy it.

@thaddadian Now a "PNG File" image just appears instead of the robot man. UGH!

if it is a png file, open it in PREVIEW. then select all of the picture (whatever your icon is) by first clicking on the picture then pushing (Command and A) (select all)... then paste it in your newly made app.. if you still need help... PLEASE watch my other video on how to change icons on mac.... it will benifit you in this problem!

if you moved the website file after you made the bookmark, it wont work anymore... thats why you need to keep you website in a safe file.
