  • massiver siedeverzug

  • superheated, the water was very very pure, above the boiling point

  • superheated!!

  • Shit I had that happen to me with milk once, fucked my hand up for quite a while, not to mention the fucking kitchen was a mess after that.

  • And then the world was fucked.

  • looks like my toilet after eating mexican food

  • @halomademepoor hahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahhahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahaha

  • What a joke this site has become. Google, the corporate pigs, are now mass infusing stupid sh*t like this to get the real microwave water experiment video lost on the mass of garbage. They even look like they were made stupid on purpose. The free medium is failing. Important videos are getting their ratings lowered by google, and comments disappear or won't show, etc.... it's all a scam

  • @blaynestaleypro It is far too late for you. You are way too fucking stupid to be saved.

  • @NagatoYukiDesu What the fuck do you know you stupid cunt.

  • @NagatoYukiDesu Whatever my comment referred to the title of the video. Maybe I'm full of shit, I'm just seeing all these videos now with the title "microwave water" just to get views. whatever, you wouldn't understand.

  • @blaynestaleypro Quick! Only Bill Nye can save us!

  • I had the same thing with coffee. I boiled a cup of coffee and put sugar there. Putting sugar caused the same effect as shown in video. I was lucky not to holding the cup in my hands otherwise I'd burnt my arm

  • or just don't try to boil distilled water.

  • lawl rhyss you are bein trashed by 10 people at least, including me. Fuck off, just die, no one really likes you, so go get a life bitch.

Also stop masturbating to britney spear's bald head.

Fuck you! Did I already say that

Your combined knowledge in life is the same as some one in the dark ages.

Seriously just die Rhyss how come you fucking suck so much! I know how to get world peace- kill rhyys! The world would be a better place!

    Fag

  • because you are an idiot.

  • @rhyyys your life's already wasted so don't blame a guy who's trying to warn other people about a REAL danger. Go google it.

  • @villarreal20 my life is wasted because fag muffins like you are destroying the interwebs.

  • @rhyyys Moaning is all you can do.

  • @rhyyys u use distilled water not tap water O.o

  • you used tp water huh

  • 1. you are an idiot

    2. this DOES work, i have tried it myself

    3. you need DISTILLED water and a VERY CLEAN cup

    5. you are a flamer

    6. you are a troll

    7. you are so stupid that you didn´t notice that i skipped 5.

    8. you are so stupid that you didn´t notice it was actually 4 that i skipped

    9. you´re angry

    10. i dont care because you´re adopted

  • This is not tap water. This is distiled water. This effect is called "Superheating".

  • actually it doesnt bubble up because glass is smooth and when u heat it up on the stove, bubbles come up because the pot is not smooth but have microscopic bumps and so it has so much energy stored up inside cuz no bubbles appeared and a slight mishandle could cauze an explosion but thats only if u put in the microwave for like 15 minutes, make sure thats its in glass but dont try it at home

  • monster....

  • horrible

  • only with destiled water.

any other water has too many "dirt" particles not to boil.

But I still believe microwaving anything is dangerous. Damn you can get incurable burns from jam inside donuts or whatever. And you don't actually need over 100 C degree water to cause injuries

  • THAT'S HOT!

  • Obviously.. Hahahaha.. xD

  • holy shit!

  • wow so that is what happens.

  • i believe it, on just pizza mode my microwave actually melted a glass container into a lump of glass.

  • sure it did... because glass melts at 1500ºC-2300ºC and a pizza is made at something like 500ºC...

  • you owned him lmao

  • i know right thats soo cool

  • fail

  • epic fail lol

  • you could rename it as superheated water....^^ and its a bad idea of using thaqt as a prank...do it on your enemy's XD

  • Tap water superheats, But it doesn't explode like that, I just need to try distilled and a perfectly new glass... and a new microwave cause mine sucks.

  • THE REAL ANSWER IS!!!

He used I dont know how to spell it but

distealed water, if you use that kind of water and boil it, it will get to boiling temperature but will never actually boil so when you stick something inside it blows up like that, so NEVER USE DISTEALED WATER WHEN MAKING COFFE OR HOT CHOCOLATE UNLESS YOU WANT TO HURT YOU OR SOMEONE ELSE!!!

  • Distilled.

  • distilled water, meaning that the water was purified by use of a still

  • I have a distiller... the water goes up through a helix and then collects into a polycarbonate jug, at slightly higher than room temperature. I sometimes drink it directly out of the jug. It's perfectly safe, not to mention it gets all of the snot out of tap water.

  • yes. i have built several small distillation "units". i usually always distill my water. i hate tapwater

  • be careful with drinking distiled water. to much can lead to water poisoning, distiled water has no minerals and salts that your body needs

  • distilled water is not potable.

  • every liquid is potable some of them only once lol xP

  • lol XD instant koffee

  • nice

  • strange, how come when I microwave water, that doesn't happen?

  • Because your glass/water is not clean enough.

Even small scratches prevents your water from supper heating.

Try using distilled water. Not Tap water (containing minerals)

  • hmm, interesting!

  • one time i was holding something then i started to look for it !

  • uhhhhhhh random. but LOL ive done that too

  • The process is called nucleation and besides causing nasty burns to those unsuspecting victems in search of the nice cup of Earl Grey, it can make a huge mess if you drop a Mentos into someone's cola.

  • The smooth surface does not allow anywhere for the seed bubbles to form. Adding a powder or stirring with a spoon introduces air. That's basically the reason it happens. Nothing to do with impurities. If you use warm water and let it sit for a while (so any air bubbles in the water escape) and then use a smooth vessel as well, you can recreate this experiment easily!

  • i had to vaccume up all the smoke

  • back in the day i put a dog buscuit in the microwave and it smoked up the whole house

  • i once ate a hotdog after frying it on a fork... and used by mistake the same fork right afterwards... my poor lower lip

  • this happened to me early this year. I put a spoon in and got 3rd degree burns. boy did i learn!

  • i was making coffee in the microwave, as usual, all milk, in for a min, take it out add the coffee and sugar, put it in for a min (i got a 700w microwave) and job done. but if i put it in for 2 mins, and take it out, and stirr it will suddenly boil up like this (not as violent but still burns the sh*t out of me), can anyone tell me why?

  • when you boiling water it a great way to get out impurities (especially since most of the impurities have a lower boiling point than the water itself). Doing this causes the water to become capacitor-like after so long. When the water has no impurities to boil off what happens it that the microwave just cause the water to spin more and more and more to the point where it actually enough energy to exceed its boiling point...without boiling.

  • As soon as you add some impurity to the water you are unleashing all of that "spinning power" the water molecules have and instead of the water steadily boiling it will almost instaneously go into a mode of instaneous vaporization (since it's beyond its normal boiling point) and explode all of the place.

  • over the place*

  • its called a flash boil. when you boil water the molecules build up kinetic energy (motion), but in a microwave the water isnt moving and energy is stored as potential energy, so when you put something in it like a spoon all the energy is released at once and boils over and shit.

  • and shit..

    Nice touch.

  • @mattstoner

LOL!!!!!!! That made my day dude, that was hilarious!!!!!

  • @mattstoner cool... i wanna do that :D

  • @mattstoner stfu nerd

  • @fghjtyjij What's wrong with being a nerd?

  • @fghjtyjij your on the internet you dumb fuck

  • @mattstoner i dont know what u said, but it sounds smart. and @fghjtyjij whats wrong with being a nerd? nerds r frickin awesome! :D

  • @mattstoner no one gives a

  • amazing

  • That happened to me once! I put a tea bag in and nearly burnt myself.

  • Wow, that's cool. I'd try it at home, but... I like having two hands. And I'm not a big risktaker with that kind of stuff. xD Bravo.

  • i think that's distilled water, right? inpure water would boil in the microwave. it has to be ultra-pure not to.
