This song was also called "Carr Jam" on Kiss's "Revenge" album. It was meant as a tribute to the late Eric Carr and it had an extended drum solo by Eric Carr. This was the last song on the album and it contained no lyrics, just music.
Man, just think.... if KISS did more of Ace's songs like this one. They wouldn't have to rely on shocking their fans with bomb blasts and fire explosions to cover up the fact that they aren't musicians.
And if you have never heard of Anton Fig .. Believe me, he his one of the best drummers in the world .. He just never played for a mainstream commercial band
This was written by Eric Carr and Ace in 1981 I think? .. It was first recorded on the Frehley's Comet record back in 1987. This version is from Anton's instructional vid
@edgroove7 This is from around Frehley's solo dys [pre-kiss 96 reunion] though im not sre exactly from when, im sure someone here knows the year. Ace and Richie[vocals] had a "falling out" mainly due to things Ace felt Richie did; taking money from the rock soldiers fanclub and not enrolling the members, using Ace's name to his credit without due, ect
@prophecyguitarist85 Hey thanks for that info.I have to wonder why Kiss members seem to run into all these undesirable musicians- then again most of the musicians I know are just that slimy wankers. I've heard Vinnie Vincent also took money from fans.......
What really makes me wonder is why is this band in the "condition" that they're in when Ace WAS in KISS? If this band would've auditioned for a record company, it's very unlikely they would've been signed for a record deal. It's not enough these days to be able to play well and have great songs. There's the look of the band as well as the way they perform on stage as well. Perhaps this band could've opened for KISS but I don't see them headlining large venues like KISS is currently doing, sorry!
Poor Ace... he doesn't even look fully there. The eighties would mess him up pretty bad. He can't remember entire decades of his life now. I LOVE THE SPACE ACE <3
Gene Simmons disliked this video....

The Ace/Richie team was rock n' roll to the bone. Very NY rock 'n roll. I saw them live 5 times.
Can't mess with Anton Fig when it comes to drumming.
