Great arrangement and awsome trumpet solo. Nice vocal, too. But I dunno; I'm just not much for scat singing, so that put me off a little. That's just a personal taste. Guy has trumpet chops I can only dream about having.
This is a sick rendition of "It don't mean a thing!" This is a difficult song for even the best musicians to perform and you guys bring something totally new to the game! Keep it up, and I'd like to see more videos!
Thought this was great. I would definitely buy the almbum. One other comment . . . John could learn a lot about bopping if he listened a few times to Mel Torme,who used bop as an instrument!. . .

Meanwhile, John(That's me)is the drummer, the singer boppin' along is Chris Lawson, the lead trumpet player. I'm sure he is quite familiar with Mel Torme since he actually played in his band, but,I'll pass your comment along to him ;)
