@Bangandurded It was axed due to shooting itself in the feet causing bad ratings. Most of the time they talked shite about christmas tree formations etc and only left 28 mins for football action out of 70 mins the show ran for unlike BBC 1 who had 58/70. This made people like myself switch off, especailly how early they put it on after the games ended. The main matches were always poor choices also, not forgetting Andy "I love Man United" Townsend's "Tactics Truck" segments everyone hated.

@FeederLiveTV Well, that was the situation with "The Premiership", but that alone made them lose their licence so they lost "The Championship" also. BBC would have done a better job anyway just like they do today. Just leave ITV to the Man United loving cos they're crap.

I never used to watch this coz im a Spurs fan but whenever i got up early on a Sunday and managed to catch it from the start for some reason the baldy guy with the glasses has always stuck in my head whenever i listen to the song lol

How is the ITV programming better of the Championship? Everything about it was crap.

The timeslot was rubbish, i mean, for all those folk that go out on a Saturday night and then miss it because it is on a Sunday morning.
