@hyr0llr i think the Vulcan was sumwhere around 150-170 hp and the Duratec was at 200. my parents have a 2000 Taurus with the 3.0 Duractec that i drive quite frequently. its a 24 valve DOHC. if you a have that engine you should be rollin up around 200 hp and lbs ft give or take a bit. but 155 sounds like a Vulcan. but the Vulcan was also a 3.0L 24 valve. and it does put out around 150 hp.

400 hp taurus? i hate to come online and start arguments however that is not possible. the transmission in the 3.0 duratech wont hold let alone the lower end internals. the only way thats going to be possible is with a turbo, supercharger, or a motor swap. ive got a V8 SHO and its puts out around 275 at 6500 after the work i did. the 3.0 dura just wont be able to output that.

Don't get me wrong, I like Tauruses and have one, but they're just not built for speed like a Trans Am is.

I have one, they're definitely a lot faster than the vulcan but Its still got a rather low amount of torque it still wouldnt come close to the T/A.
