  • All of you quit your whining, you are all just like a bunch of little girls. grow some fucking BALLS.

  • It depends on the type of current that shocks, how it shocks you and how long your shocked for. AC at 50-60hz is by far the most lethal, and apparently it has killed as low as 40 milliamps, however more than 80 normally has the potential to cause heart fibrillation, of course the current has to travel accross your chest. 10A? Considering current as low as 5A is used in electric chairs, don't think so. BTW Tasers use 2 to 3.6 ma, completely impossible of causing death in any circumstances.

  • way over complicated to do something simple

  • chris great job i think your on the verge of

creating massive amounts of hho gas if you can

dump all that voltage into a hho cell like, stan meyer was doing with a voltage intensifier circuit.

can you lay out a diagram of your voltage generator would like to see it .

  • "Hi,Nice outfit.... However what is the adavntage of the unit? What's it for exactley? "

High voltage generation of course. You could buy a 300 000 volt capacitor and charge it. Than every time someone pisses you off you could shake their hand ;) ZAP!!!

  • Owch dude, fucking owch. You'd never find enough insulation to stop the charge from leaking.

  • Yeah you're right, 300 000 volts is a bit high to store, more like a 3000 volts cap :D

Also just to be clear, I'm completely against the police using tazers to control the public, I would much more prefer the good old stick and shield ;D

  • What about the 400volt caps I've got in my amp?

  • Well it would bite about 3,5 times as much as when you get shocked by your electrical home supply, if you're an American that is. Unnecessary to say, it would probably be sufficient ;D

But: Be aware of the amps, when you lower the voltage in the caps you most often increases the amps, and the amps is what kills you, either if it is your heart or your peacemaker.

  • I'm Aussie, I've been shocked by an active 200V cap in a computer PSU before, that hurt. Dunno how many amps is was though.

and how many amps is it that is lethal? I heard it was 10, but I've also heard it was 1.

  • Then you probably have 230 volts in your grid.

10 amps???? NO man!! You need only 60 miliamps in order to get killed. That is, enough to stop your heart from beating.

The voltage will decide how many amps you will get, and if you are sweating in both hands in can be a lot less than 100 volts.

  • Its below one amp. The thing that makes the difference is how you get the shock. How long the shock lasts is very important. If you tough the + and - wires with the same hand, electricity only goes trough your fingers, but it you touch the other wire with your other hand, the electricity must travel past your chest. If youre sweaty, the shock travels on your skin, not trough your body, and is less lethal.

But really. I've gotten a shock from a wall socket and it was the most awful feeling ever

  • WRONG...at 240V (australian voltage) .1 of an amp is enough to kill. Thats .1 of an amp or 100mA@240V. Im also an Aussie? although I dont know what that has to do with it.

  • O.o Tackle box huh. I've been looking for a container for my generator and I think you just gave me the perfect solution

  • I like

  • woha, he's got a lock!!!

  • that is very messy and non efficient

  • You should use your genius to create a pulse or sinewave generator for splitting water molecules into H2o gas. You seem like you have master voltage, frequencey and pulse waves which is all you need to split water molecules. The world need relief from high energy prices. Keep up the good work though.

  • A very fine aparatus. I especially like the way it folds up and becomes portable.

I wonder how it would perform with a Cockcroft Walton multiplier at the end.

  • do you have a schematic of your oscillator circuit? and the setup? looking for a high voltage supply. Nice work by the way!

  • Genius!!! Old tech amaze!!!!

  • Nice Work!

Did I miss the output figures or are they not included? Please post if you can or just give some examples of what you can run with it... aside from the stunner for the oil worshipers as suggested in last comment hahaha!

Scooter batt. = 12v by how many Ah? Thanks for the vid man. Impressed!

  • Thank you. You are exemplary in your assistance to others. Be safe. There are lots of greedy people that probably won't care much for you. Add a stun gun to it for protection from people like J.P.Morgan. HAHA.

  • neat little project. yes i would also strongly suggest soldering the whole thing and mounting it so wires no longer have to be flexed when opening/closing. soldering connections will help ensure firm part installation and safety with these touchy HV devices...

  • Nice Work! You should considering soldering it together. Before I switcthed to soldering I used to have soo much trouble with the bread boards being unreliable. Not to mention getting messed up by moving around and such...

Also I found that plastic toggle switches from the hardware store work really well for switching on high voltage equipment... I tried a metal one but I had an incident with it...

    Anyways... Nice Job!

  • nifty. any chance you could post schematics?

  • pretty cool :) Nice detailed explanation

  • Just a quick note, the oscillator circuit is a variation on the one used by rmcybernetics.
