Hey man, great vid. Is your recto modded? I have one and have never been able to get that tone with it.

@spaceace1513 I don't think so... I bought it used. Gain was about 2 oclock, Bass 2 oclock, mids noon, treble 3 oclock. master 2 oclock. RM4 volume at 10 oclock, RT 2/50 volume was at 10 oclock. See info for other gear. Maybe the cab, guitar, or the BBE would make a difference...

Yeah man, good to see another Randall player. That Brown module sounds good as a clean. I've been thinking of going with a Top Boost for my clean for a long time. Do you have any experience with that one? I want to hear from someone who actually uses it clean. Anyways, good work and God bless.

@JDD36 I have a George Lynch Super V which is supposed to be the cleaner / mid sound based on a Vox. It has a little less gain and is a little more chimey than the Top Boost and it cleans up REALLY nicely. I imagine the Top Boost would do the same. Top Boost is on my wishlist :) I currently have Blackface, Deluxe, Super V, Brown, Recto, Mr. Scary.
