Second, the rigging was all set up for that taint-plant, so most people involved with the organization of the MTV awards would have known it was coming.

Look at the camera work, the shot of eminem right after Bruno gets tangled up in the rafters. Coincidence? The cameraman in the isle? Eminem's mic'ed voice (unless bruno had a mic in his ass) and finally, eminem's body guards didn't fuck bruno up.
