  • 100 aniversary of titanic is comming up on april 15th 1912-2012

  • I thought lustania was 1 too is it?

  • I forgot Britannic and Olympic

  • the girl that was on titanic was on britannic too

  • And Empress of Ierland, Andrea,Doria, and Poseidon. I'm not sure Poseidon is a real ship. If you know just tell me

  • Olympic,Titanic ,Gigantic,Lusitania,Mueretania and Great Eastern are my favorite ships!

  • beautiful pictures

  • 0:46

Ship is very tiny or that submarine is god damm massive.

  • It might have been sunk by a torpedo from a u-boat as well as a mine

  • This music makes me want to grocery shop in an elevator...

  • @chimp959 Well they are sisters after all

  • They were all unsinkable to their standards. The titanic was built with so much thought, that it was unsinkable. It was designed to always float, but one of the two ways that it couldn't float happened.

  • wow only 1 ship done its duty

  • yah rite

  • the olymic was truly the only unsinkable ship of the trio.

  • and those are the sadest sea storys ever

  • @diplodcusfreak u discust me those are the reason we like ship wrecks

  • The Olympic is the only one of their ships that didn't sink. After Titanic sunk, White Star made design changes in the other ships to make them safer. The changes should have prevented Britianica from sinking as the water tight doors would have enclosed the area that was hit by the bomb. As you stated in the video, when White Star Line merged with another company, the Olympic was scrapped. It also has been specualted that they switched the identies of Olympic and Titanic in a big insurance sc

  • @diplodicusfreak

Wow, you're a Youtube badass who can't think of anything intelligent to say, so you resort to calling things gay. Also, lern2grammar plz. Punctuation is your friend.

  • @FoxtrotMouse u r gay

  • @FoxtrotMouse Just to let you know, I, Like this video. Thanks for the upload

  • @FoxtrotMouse im 9 and no how to do that and sorry they said that

  • @diplodicusfreak there were only 3 ships made by white star, and you are what you say

  • @thefifthteen no there were more than 3 over 100

  • @thefifthteen These were the only Olympic-Class luxury liners there were 50+ other liners

  • u know u should rename this vid 2 three sisters because there are more ships in the white star line than that.

  • I don't know why I watch these videos, i'm hypnophobia of sunken ships.

  • All white star liner ships are death traps.

  • If u wanna respect them, call the video Olympic class liners...

  • titanic did not sank on april 14, it sank on the 15th... it hit the iceberg on the 14th

  • Brittanic titanic lustinea i like them

  • You forgot the Nomadic witch btw is still afloat but anchored at sea where it is now a resturaunt.

  • You forgot the info on the Olympic.

  • 3 ships only?!

  • Is white starline still in business?

  • @ccmattyfilms Don't know if anybody replied to you yet, but White Star technically went out of business a long time ago. There were absorbed by Cunard in the early or mid 30s.

  • Actually White star is working inside Cunard. Because if you think of it the main reason the white star ships sank is because of an explosion. and titanic was because of the bulkheads. where as cunard ships sank alot quicker then white star ships so now that white star is working with cunard their ships are stronger

  • I guess SOME PEOPLE dont appriciate white star line, (mine)

  • What does it mean when a ship is "christened" ?

  • @SBernardoni1991 it means she is given her name. and the bottle is busted on the hull to christened her. name her

  • @SBernardoni1991 Well now a days a champagen bottle is smacks against the hull; to wish the ship luck on the high seas much like a blessing, not sure if thats what they did back then

  • lusitania was cunard

  • The difference between Cunard and White Star Line is that Cunard christened their ships and White Star Line didn't. Well you see what happened to those ships of theirs.... And an easy thing to know wich one is Cunard and wich one is White Star is that Cunard's ships' names mostly end with "ania" (Mauretania,Lusitania etc.) and White Star with "ic" (Titanic, Brittanic, Gigantic, Majestic etc.)

  • @Tottiboy190 oh well, what about the lusitania?

  • @yubdailee Well, all ships must sink someday, btw Lusitania was hit by a u-boat. and compared to white star, cunard had a lot less ships that sank, and it didn't went bankrupt...

  • @Tottiboy190 Yeah, I'm sure breaking a champagne bottle on the bow would have hardened the steel. Plus Lusitania sunk also.

  • @Tottiboy190 cunard ships have sunk, too. like the lusitania.

  • @Tottiboy190 This is not true, absolutely not. Each and every White Star Ship was christened, just like Cunard's ships... Where did you get this information?

  • @linerwise wikipedia

  • @linerwise It is true , all of the Olympic class ships were built in Belfast where none of the ships are christened.

  • the britanic is a repaint of the titanic

  • Question:Is the White Star Line working by today?

  • @marianamarianiful yes but she has been renamed to "The Red Funnel Line"

  • what it is a song ?

  • for your first video its pretty good

  • The Britannic sank with a torpedo not a mine.

  • @2012badluck it was a mine, first it wasn't sure but it was a mine

  • Why is it that so many White Star Liners ended up at the bottom of the ocean?

  • @49bobbyk Shoddy engineering? Shortcuts in the mfg. process? Wouldn't be the first time a company cheaped out, look at airplane disasters.

  • The picture at 1:20 is very touching.Very good picture choice for the end picture

  • the picture at 0.46 is fake. its not that bright deep down there

  • they should have kept the Olympic and made it into a museum. it was the closest thing to titanic.

  • should not have scrapped the olympic.

  • 5 stars for the last picture this is unbelievable! as a huge fan of the titanic this was the best tribute of the olympic class ever

  • I can't beleive they made the R.M.S. Olympic into trash! After the war they tore it apart!

  • does this happen to anyone else - when you see ship wrecks and stuff underwater you feel like your going to throw uo- uurghh....

  • White star people have big problems.

its wierd how they all sank

  • @revrunnertech2772 *sigh* you got to be kidding me,ARE ALL OF U ASSHOLES IN THIS PLACE???ONLY 2 OF THE 3 SANK!!!!!YOU HAVE A BIG PROBLEM WITH YOUR HEAD CAUSE YOUR BRAINS ARE UP YOUR ASS INSTEAD OF YOUR HEAD!!!

  • @longer393 THE WHITE STAR LINE HAS MORE SHIPS THAN 3

  • i notice they all sunk before 1920

  • @wingnut3699 *facepalm* idiot! only 2 of the 3 sank! olympic was scrapped in 1937 can't you read???

  • I never new Gigantic was even a Ship ?

  • @swantonbomb450 Gigantic was the original name for the brittanic. After the Titanic sank White star line thought it would be best to rename the Gigantic with a name that was not focused on it's size.

  • @dawnstrends They changed the name cause they felt they would anger the gods further by naming it Gigantic. They were suppose to be named after the Olympians, the Titans, and the Giants of Greek mythology. That and some bad press led to the name change.

  • @swantonbomb450 Gigantic was Britanic's old name be4 it was change to the name we now know

  • @kindJake the white star line never said that that was the truth... so i am gonna have to say that that is a lie..... sry :P

  • @oseart5556 w8 what I say i forgot

  • @kindJake that Gigantic was Britanics old name

  • @swantonbomb450 its not :P

  • music is real bad

  • isnt it weird that only one of the 3 three most famous ships white star liners produced made it to the scrap yard and fullfilled their duties... I dont know about you but after that I wouldnt go on any ship made by white star liners

  • Even though Titanic & Britannic are gone, somthing should have been done to save Olympic. Now she gone too.

  • i liked the last pic

  • why all this sunk WHY!!!!

  • @Tv5Contestant2 how many assholes are there in this place!? ONLY 2 OF THE 3 SANK!!!! GETTING SCRAPPED MEANS THEY TOOK THE PARTS OF THE SHIP TO BUILD SOMETHING ELSE!!!!!!!!

  • It seam that the white step liners all had tragic ends

  • what about the Empress Of Ireland?

  • Technically Titanic Sunk April 15 at 2:20 AM it collided with the iceberg on April 14 at 11:40 PM

  • is 1:13 the remains of the brittanic if so wow!

  • @Theflipnerd Hi, yes HMHS Britannic is pretty much the same in condition now; that picture was taken in 1981 (if i am correct) and because the britannic is only in 400ft deep water, it hasn't deteriorated too much since the photo was taken, the hole is slightly bigger that is all that has changed

  • they have indeed made ships bigger and better but there have NEVER been any the same as these three sisters! and none have ever been as luxurious as these!

  • @generaltodd2 And here I should mention Cunard's Queens xD

  • I love 1:20!!!

It's just like the three sisters having a walk in the park!

Was that offencive?Sorry, if it was.

    You did very good.!

  • The only way to tell Olympic and Titanic apart is that Titanic had her forward promenade deck enclosed whilst Olympic was open. White Star had four very sucessful ships prior to the big three .. they were Baltic, Cedric, Adriatic and Celtic

  • this is one of my favorite videos...i just love it.

  • You forgot the Lusitania

  • Lusitania wasn't a White Star Liner, she was a Cunard Liner. I made a seperate video for Lusitania.

  • @FoxtrotMouse I searched in your vids and it none Lusitania

  • @FoxtrotMouse oh okay

  • Lusitania was cunard line not white star line.

  • lusitania was the cunard line

  • olympic was cut back after it was decommissioned in 1935 well they did some thing stupid back then.

  • i bet the olympic feeels so special

  • they all sank correct???

that company REALLY needs 2 change their design

  • Not all of them not the olympic

  • @ZZgS please read my other 3 comments about me saying:ONLY 2 OF THE 3 SANK!!!!!!

    thank you >=(

  • I wish that they had built a new Titanic quite similar to the original but without the 3 classes, but with only 1 class so that other ships are today but if they build a similar vessel as it becomes the world's history no longer

  • why are the rms boats all the same design

  • The Titanic disaster warranted a retro-fitting of the Olympic, which included modifications to the watertight bulkheads, her double hull, and the addition of more lifeboats. Additionally, the disaster played a pivotal role in the design of the R.M.S. Britannic.

  • I know another Ken Marshall picture of the Britannic, there she looks much better, the front is nearly complete on this. She might be broken quite fast.

  • the titanic sank due to the bulkheads not goin all the way to the top so once one compartment had filled to the top it spilled over into the next and so on

  • damn white star line couldnt build ships 4 shit

  • they could, it wasnt the ships fault for the 2 crashes

  • well 2 r sitn on the ocean floor & 1 of em was supposed 2 be unsinkable so need i say more

  • haha your videos music always is a big surprise!

  • how come most of dem sunk?

  • well the britannic hut a mine in war and the titanic hut and ice berg

  • Titanic also sunk due to poor structure, the owners cut cost by doing this knowing the titanic was not a sound built ship.

  • 1:22 i like that picture of the 3 biggest ships

  • Oh no no no, those are no longer the biggest ships. Anyways, there are ships bigger today.

  • the song is catchy

  • 00:9 front of ship HI GREAT GRANDAD

  • love the 80s feel good music!

  • Why did they make all 3 ships look the same?

    Especially Titanic and Olympic?

  • because they were all Olympic class liners

  • Britannic also looked the same, just these paintings are of when it was a hospital ship, it was also grander than both the Titanic and Olympic

  • So it was actually bigger than Titanic and Olympic huh? Wow!

    Thanks for the comment!

  • No, the interior was grander, such as the Britannic had a large organ in the grand staircase room and the Titanic didn't.

  • the right and left ships look the same

  • Those two ships are actually nearly identical sister ships (Olympic and Titanic.) It's hard to tell which is which in that particular picture though (I'm assuming Olympic is the greyer looking ship though.)

  • correct the olympic is the greyer looking ship

  • actually they are exactly the same, the olympic was 2 inches longer. I read the specs.

  • @FoxtrotMouse I think that the ship on the left is the Titanic, because if you look at the side of the ship, on the decks in the white, there is a wall going down the side. That was a feature which I have read was not on the Olympic, but was on the Titanic. This means that the ship on the left must be the Titanic, and the ship on the right must be the Olympic.

  • @CarGuyZM10 no, titanic is on the right. olympic left and britannic was in the middle.

  • @LLOYD19851012 no titanic, britannic, olympic (L to R)

  • @FoxtrotMouse The greyer one is actually titanic because I saw that part of the illustration on a book and it had the enclosed promenade

  • @FoxtrotMouse Its the greyer cause Titanic was black not black-grey.

  • @FoxtrotMouse Actually the one on the far left is Titanic, the A deck promenade is closed in.

  • @FoxtrotMouse i believe those are both the titanic

  • Where did you get the last pic? plz plz tell me

  • I actually can't remember. I just Goggled for pictures of the ships and stumbled across that one.

  • It's a true shame they scrapped the Olympic.

  • Yeah man. I wish the ships that sunk or scrapped were still around.

  • Yes, they could have turned it into a hotel, like the Queen Mary was.

  • I love that last pic so much. did you do that w/ fotoshop or did you find it? i'd really love to save that pic to my computer, so i'd really appreciate perhaps a key word to look it up by, because i can't find it on the internet.

  • I actually found it, but sadly, I can't remember where.

  • Thats too bad... :(

  • ok time to let a real expert over these ships tell you what really happened. olympic was scaped after 35 yrs cause she rammed and sank a Nantucket Lightship killing 4 aboard. NOONE KNOWS what really happened to britannic. it was a mine or torpedo has never been confirmed, as for titanic, well we all know about her.

  • Gee, I shure would have loved to see a picture like the last one in real life happening.. The three sisterships sailing beside each other^^.. What a sight,.3 beaut's

  • Ugh. The white star line merged with cunard and still exists. They Are restoring a white star ship now. Its called the normidac. Also Brittanic was a hospital ship and sank in WWI!!

  • The Germans didn't care if she was carrying arms or not. They were insane nazis. Especially the submarine crews they had standing orders not to save the crewmen of vessels they sank. Most times they surfaced and shot them in the water. The Britannic was full of women and babies. And that is not a mine hole it's a torpedo exit blast.

  • Nazi's were the Second World War, the Britianic sank during the First world War.. No Nazi's. The Olympic was built before both other ships and was dismanteled in 1935.. refer to Walter Lyods book "A Night To Remember"...

  • get your facts right: 1.) Nazis were WWII

2.) IT'S A FUCKING MINE THAT HIT THE BRITANNIC... Don't belive me? look it up on wikipedia!. And try to inform yourself BEFORE you talk bad about a nation., because whatyou said, sounds like all germans were and still are nazis....which, you are totally wrong at, if I may add!

  • Tip: Don't quote Wikipedia as a source. It can quite often be wrong. Not saying you are wrong but Wikipedia is not a 'quotable' source that is credible.

  • That was a mine off the coast of the island of Kea that destroyed the Britannic.

P.S. The Nazi Party wasn't formed until 1922

  • the titanic sunk before ww1

  • music?

  • i thought olympic was never finished due to bankruptcy

  • No it was in fact a part of WW1.

  • No, WW1 was started July 18, 1914

The RMS Titanic sank on April 14, 1914

  • 1912 dumbass

  • i meant 1912

    i wrote 1914 by accident

  • @gamaroy

The RMS Olympic was the first of the Olympic class liners(Titanic and Britannic)

  • are you sure? the Britannic was like late 1880's dood, it still had sails AND steam-stacks

  • @gamaroy You're referring to the wrong Britannic, I'm referring to the one in WW1 that hit a mine.

  • The BRITANNIC as originaly going to be calle GIGANTIC, thats why at 0:53 i says that, for the record, you know

  • White Star Line lol I think after two ships sunk, no one could trust their company. Shame really.
